  1. well i plan to keep upgrading the engine hopefully one day be at 300ish hp. so the rx7 injectors would be a direct replacement?
  2. like what cars share the same injectors that would be better for this kind of boost
  3. -_-...... i did that a couldn't find what cars i could pull an injector off to put on my car
  4. so i looked through the forums for fuel injection upgrades and couldn't find one. if somebody knows of one and could point me there that would be great! i don't have a lot of money so if there are fuel injectors that are better than the stock ones on this car and i could just pull them off a car at the yard that would be pretty cool. thanks
  5. i am and i don't have 600 dollars to spend on an upgrade :/ oh well i wont be using it very often and will try to not give it gas when i do. im going to get another part time job here pretty soon so hopefully ill have enough in a few months
  6. soo apparently my waist gate was modified to 16 psi b4 i got it and the past owner didn't tell me O.O no wonder it was so scary when i floored it!
  7. a healthy 300hp wouldn't be bad. although the convertible makes the back end so light with my 200 whp it already spins a tire in 5th gear at 40 mph :poop: i need an lsd :w00t:
  8. when i said carbed engines i was talking about N/A american v8's being simple. i have built 7 so far i think give or take but i feel like the less electronics the easier. i have nothing against efi engines im actually really exited to learn more about them and to be building one. ill save up for a mega squirt and do a whole lot of reading up in the mean time! :)
  9. there is a surpassing amount of difference between carburated engines and fuel injected! it sure is a lot simpler to build hp with a carbed engine for sure
  10. where am i behind? a cam is around 300 so is a port & polish and port match. this is the first turbo build ive done and the first fuel injected build for that matter also
  11. because they are fairly cheap. about the same as a port and polish and i would prolly change the cam then port and polish in the same week. ima go junk yard/craigslist diving for a bov. isnt mega squirt like 1k? i think i remember all that kind of stuff was hella pricey.
  12. wow those are some very good articles i never knew that turbo cams and N/A cams were different!
  13. so i sold my cadillac the other day a little after i listed this for sale so it looks like this is the car i am going to keep haha. i need to water proof asap! just a little update. also does anybody have any experience with these cams? http://schneidercams.com/turbocharged-3.aspx what kind of power gain will i experience with a mild to mid range cam and a tune.
  14. just sold my cadillac i had for sale tonight also so this is my only car now i could trade for a hard top z any model but i don't really need a car for living in a dorm i guess just throwing that out there
