  1. Yeah sorry I was half falling asleep last night when I posted these. Anyway, I pulled the L16 set up out of it and, I will eventually drop the high performance L20B in it. The bed is off currently while I run new brake lines and go through the rear end blah blah. Eventually it will have disc brakes up front, new interior and paint. Thanks for checking it out!
  2. I have a running L16 Motor for sale. I just pulled it out of my 521. It has dual SU's and I also have the 4 speed transmission to go with it. Everything works fine! The motor will need to be tuned. I recently replaced the spark plugs, wires and cap. I don't really want to part with the carbs but I don't see myself using them. They have been rebuilt and probably need to be fine tuned as well. I will let the whole lot go for $200.00. I have attached some pics of everything but the transmission. I am out in the Estacada area. Feel free to call me directly or simply reply to this post. Thanks for taking the time. 3. Thanks for ALL the feedback! @thisismatt, clearly IRS is a full time thing. I'm not new to the car world. but thank you. I am sort of new to datsuns and am really excited to get my pickup back on the road. I do have a full machine/fab shop at my fingertips so the work isn't the issue. However, being relatively new to Datsuns, I didn't know if there was a particularly common rear end swap. @DTP, thanks for all the info. I may leave it alone for now just to get it on the road and to a couple of events. I look forward to meeting some of you and seeing what you've got...
  4. Alright, so I've begun some work on a 1970 pickup I had in high school. I have recently picked up a nicely built L20 and would like to change out the rear end and perhaps the brakes. Which rear end should I use that may also provide some independant suspension? I'm relatively new to the world of japanese cars and will welcome any suggestions. Thanks for your time...
