  1. I took of my A/V condenser but my heater blower will not work. Is there a way to bypass the A/V condenser to get my heater working. I need it for those foggy mornings
  2. holy sh?@, i thought mine was bad, there's a maching shop literally on the next block, imma go have a talk with them and see what they say.
  3. found some pics before the paint job, you can see the indent. Anything I should know or need to be worried about?
  4. there was a kiss, like a round mark on the piston, the motor stop, and i rotated the crank manually but it would get stuck just be few degrees fron TDC, i rotated the other way and it got stuck again. my guess was that the blown valve was keeping it from getting further.
  5. cylinder can be bare and round exhaust port preferred but squared is welcome, ships to los angeles.
  6. piston looks fine, i had it filled with water and there didn't appear to be any leaks.
  7. do i need my head machined or just get a new valve and lap it ?
  8. it's a rebuilt carb and the choke is fully open, imma check for leaks today after work.
  9. hhhmmm, i just found and old thread Where GGzilla said: so, i'm thinking i don't have a problem, but I will try those pointers anyway tristin here's the link to the quote http://community.ratsun.net/topic/16680-hitachi-carb-high-idle/
  10. got the datsun running, with the new weber carb but this thing will not tune properly, I can't get lower then 1800 rpm without this thing trying to turn off on me. this guy said it sounds like an air leak, but he could have be referring to that damn exhaust leak i still have. I'll post up some pictures of my installation maybe you guys can spot a mistake
  11. I'm looking for both the seatbelt and receptacle. I'm not sure of the years they made made th but it is for a 79' 510
  12. tried it again, it's still leaks at the same spot, im gonna call it quits and take it to a muffler shop unless someone else has some input.
  13. i was reading one of my manuals and found this: maybe i have a leak some where else ine the manifold?
  14. Can you get me a part number or better yet a link, I just check there site and came up empty
