  1. I found the problem, the strut rod snapped right at the start of the threads.
  2. I know that the strut rod is still attached and the hardware is still there.
  3. Hello all, before I get started, I searched for my problem and didn't see anything, if I did miss it I apologize. So I was on my way to work this morning, and I went to take the exit, (freeway is under construction) and where I got off the road is about 2in below the rest of the road. Once I hit that junction, I hear a loud noise and something hit the under side of the car. After that I hit the brakes, and it pulled hard to the right, and I get this wobble in the wheel and the wobble feels like it's also in the driver side rotor. Once I got to work I could only give it a quick glance because I had to be in the bay area by 9. From what I could see, nothing looked out of place. With that said I wasn't able to see the inner pads on the calipers. The brake master cylinder still has fluid. Since I'm not with the car right now, what I was hoping for is some suggestions as where to start looking because this is my daily driver and I can't take my wife's car and she can't get up early enough to drop me off at the office. Any advice would be very appreciated and agian I'm sorry if this topic has already been posted. 69 510 280zx front struts and calipers 280zx master
  4. My sender location is in the side of the tank.
  5. Is the sender location in the side of the tank or on top? And do you have the part number for the sender that you used?
  6. Top off the tank, and it reads around 3/4 then after about 10 miles it's below half a tank.
  7. So then, in theory this guage here would work in the correct direction, just be off a little on the empty side? http://m.summitracing.com/parts/atm-5715 Says 73 ohms empty, and 10 ohms full. Would that be my best bet if I were to go with an auto meter guage?
  8. The guage reads but not accurately, and I would like to use this auto meter guage since I've already changed out the temp guage for a mechanical auto meter guage. I just wanted to know if it would work or not since the site says 0 to 90 with 0 being empty and 90 being full.
  9. So I've been looking around the forum to try and find the info I need before asking this question, but I'm still at a loss. I read in a post from about 4 years ago stating that, 8 ohms is full and that 83 or something like that was empty. But the auto meter guages I see all say that 0 ohms is empty and 90 ohms is full. So my real question is, is this guage going to work for me or is it backwards and not going to work? It's part number 5714 on auto meters website. http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugedetail.aspx?gid=2609&sid=7&gnid=-1&zid=2&cid=2&tid=-1§ionHash=color_tab-tab# Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
