  1. People can be hard headed.. dont mind the "purists" and "traditionalists" here on ratsun. your 510 is beautiful, my word of advice don't take any offer, enjoy what you have because once you sell it, you will always remember it. regardless of what people opinions are on your car, good luck with your sale people get so side tracked because "its a 4 door" in my opinion 4 doors look better than 2 doors, better than wagons and should be enjoyed regardless. just my little rant. don't take less than 15 for it.
  2. Thanks guys its been a long journey thus far and still have a lot to do but it will be the greatest feeling ever seeing it "done" whatever that means
  3. Just skimmed through your thread, haha no joke you really want to do laguna seca too thats cool man i really like the work youve done so far and wow to that mustang..
  4. Now you are all up to date with my build, i need to finish prepping the interior floors and trunk for a bedliner substance application, and then the car will be ready for paint. its been a long journey so far and a lot of work but it has been constantly paying off in self satisfaction. i plan to keep this car for a while so future plans obviously after paint include updating the suspension and brakes as well as lowering it on some nice wheels and tires and possibly a KA swap in the further future. thank you for reading through and i will try my best to keep this thing updated.
  5. When deciding what color to paint this car, i had a hard time deciding but knew in the end i wanted a blue variant color, i though factory baby blue is nice, but i wanted to do something different. most people are growing to like voodoo blue from a toyota fj cruiser, and ford grabber blue, and powder blue, but being a BMW owner as well i thought the laguna seca blue available on the M3 was an excellent color and am so happy i decided to go this route.. its only a matter of time before someone else does this same color but i could care less its my car and ill do what i like to it.
  6. Every surface that was stripped and rust was prevalent, i grinded and applied POR-15 to.. and spots and had holes that i didnt trust in case welding would allow future rust i used fiberglass on, grinded and then topped off with body filler and sanded it smooth so that when primer was layed it would not allow bubbles or ripples of any kind.
  7. essentially i stripped this whole car and wanted to make everything on point. getting the boddy lines straight from the front of the fender all the way to the back was an IMMENSE job
  8. im truly surpised how well i was able to hammer out this corner..
  9. so clearly this car has seen better days, but one man's trash is another mans treasure right?
  10. right after the head came back from getting a valve job and valve stem seals.
  11. got it to run pretty decent even though the idle was high.. seeing it sitting for God know how long before i got it running
  12. i had moved 2 times during the build of this car so if you are confused about the cali license plate but me livin gin oregon, now you know.. decided to make some cool wooden planks for my roofrack
  13. yes someone got shot and killed in this car lol who knows
