Lol when my lame ass car didnt win best classic i was dissapointed, LOST TO A EF HATCHBACK...

I'm quite new here, but bear with me, so im currently stumped, and my friend i usually ask about problems with this car is also stumped, thought id ask ratsun for some advice, so heres my problem, im taking off from a stop and a few seconds later the car jerks very hard, and then the tach goes to zero and all i hear is the carbs suck in a bunch of air almost as if the car is off then it pops really loud and springs back to life, not to mention my tach also goes to zero even when im driving or even romping on it at like 3rd gear 4-5k rpms, and it misfires a bit too, i have no clue whats wrong. i even bought a new ignition coil, all connections are good, wires are good, and i know for sure im getting fuel. At 1500 rpm or so, even after completely warmed up, i can hear the misfire happening, the real trouble only seems to take place when my car is in gear, the jerking is horrible and the car isnt currently operational for the street since it could die at any moment, ive even had it die in 4th gear at about 3k rpms. The main problem seems to be spark is going dead for a brief moment, then suddenly coming back on. Ignition relay switch clicks on everytime i turn the key to "on" so i know thats fine, what can it be?. :confused:
