#1561519 620 LWB with wide 18's?

Posted by Hawaiian620 on 30 April 2018 - 04:43 PM

Depends. Do you care if it rubs? A lot?    ^_^

More rubbing than a slight fender rolling would take care of? If so then nevermind haha It'll be on a 620 with 3in blocks and 720 springs if that helps figure out the rubbing. I saw flatcat say +10 is even with the fender so maybe that's the way to go

Speaking of offsets would a 15in wheel with -12 offset and 9in wide tires look funny/need flares? I saw his are -30. Just asking for a friend...

#1553229 RATSUN License plate. California Black

I have the DATSUN plate up here in AK. Don't have any of my Datsuns up here though, so I got it for my Xterra. Figure it'll be good for the garage when I move back home or if I ever make it to a Datsun meet up.

#1552373 Decklid racks.

Posted by Hawaiian620 on 19 March 2018 - 01:05 PM

Does anyone have any pictures of the optional decklid rack that was offered for the B210 sedans?  I have a 1975 accesories catalogue which mentions a "Genuine wood and chrome rear deck luggage rack," but doesn't show it....actually, let alone pictures, does anyone have one of these racks themselves that they'd be willing to part with?

Late response. Been looking through the 210 forum to learn more about them. The '81 210 I just bought came with one. One of the little things I like most about it haha No wood trim though.

I have no idea. I'm stationed in Alaska, so the wife went and picked it up for me. She said it had disk brakes and they worked good haha Looking forward to getting home and checking it out more.

On a side note if anyone has the side "Datsun 210" emblems or knows where to buy some please let me know. I didn't see any on Ebay.

Here is my soon to be project. Needs a new engine. Sounds like L18 or L20 would be the way to go? Still learning though.

Does anyone know if this 521 sold? I'm possibly interested if anyone knows the owner.

I've decided to sell my project 1971 Datsun 521. I am the second owner of this truck and its in good shape for a project. It has a rebuilt L-16 with a Webber carb that is currently out of the truck because I was prepping it for paint. It still has the original 4 speed in it. I do not have the time, nor do I want to part it out. This truck is rust free without any dents. I have had dozens of these trucks as well as 510's and can tell you its one of the better ones you'll find to start a build. Adult owned and zero modifications done to it. I have been an active Datsun enthusiast for over 20 years and know these trucks well. If you want a good project truck, this is it. I also have an engine stand and cherry picker I'll throw in for an extra $150. Moving and must sell.

A pair of Shelby pickups. Didn't know they existed. Don't understand why they exist other than to separate money from people who have too much of it. The red and white one has a paltry 396 HP. The white and blue one is supercharged and has  700 HP.

I saw a red and white one in Seaside, OR in June. Had no idea they made them till then. No idea why they make these either haha
