  1. On Solex equipped roadsters, my vacume advance is crimped over, I have read it was to have a nylon plug? What do other roadsters have?

    Brakes ?

Front disk brakes (both sides) locked up the other day. Have been using the car for last 2-summers after complete restoration. Pedal was hard with no travel, once I backed off break line at master the calipers released. Have removed master cylinder, no sign of scoring or issue inside, rubber boots are good condition. Anyone else have had this happen? Any thoughts?
  3. Thanks for the advice, carbs balanced, throttle return spring ( new carbs) does not race when started or idle, only when revs climb over 3500. I'm now working on fuel pressure.

    68-150 2000

New rebuilt head, new exhaust/intake gasket, all new insulator gaskets, new 44's from Wolf Creek racing, all timing top and bottom on the mark. My problem is in-between shifts, carbs do not throttle down, shifts around 4-grand continue to climb with clutch pedal fully depressed. Have eliminated any vacuume leaks, running out of ideas, has anybody had this problem?
