  1. Damn I missed it, in for the next run if that ever happens.
  2. Hmm. Definitely sus. Makes me wonder how those accounts are allowed to stick around. Seems like they’d be reported by people that get burnt. Then again they keep changing their name so maybe that’s how?
  3. https://instagram.com/classic_datsun_spares?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= Tons of parts. No comments on any posts and they’re located in Africa. Not that I have any problem with Africans or whatever, just saying there seems to be a lot of scams originating in that area 😬 Anyway anyone have any experience with them?
  4. Aren’t most Toyota axles 5 lug? Wouldn’t mind going that route if I can stay with 6.
  5. Yeah I dropped in a KA24DE and she’ll be back on the road soon. It was a 3 speed auto so I’m not 100% on what gearing was in the rear end but it struggled at freeway speed. Forgive my ignorance because I’m still trying to learn what we can and can’t use for the H-190 rear end. If I was to find a third member from a hardbody or pathfinder or something that used an h-190 and had an lsd could I swap that into my existing axle? Or would I need the whole rear end? From reading some of your older posts it looks like the early D21 came with an lsd option that might be a direct swap? Or a newer D21 but that’s 2”ish wider per side. Then there’s a ford 9” and on and on down the rabbit hole 🤦🏻‍♂️
  6. Thanks Mike, glad I asked! My concern is not wanting to do one wheeled burnouts after the engine swap 🤣
  7. https://www.tractionconcepts.com/1972-1979-Datsun-620-Truck-H190-Diff-Lsd-Kit-p/tcxda3343.htm Been looking around for limited slip option for the 620 and stumbled on these. Seems to be a straight bolt on, but I haven’t done a deep dive yet. Anyone used one?
  8. As the title states let’s see em. I’m thinking I may have to route mine above or through the x-member somehow. I no longer have torsion bars so that frees up some room. But I’d like some ideas.
  9. Are you using an auto ECU by chance? I’m trying to diagnose a similar issue and I’m reading auto ECU’s may do this normally.
  10. The pins are fine, mostly. The hinge itself is split. I could just weld it if need be. https://imgur.com/a/eQykxHk
  11. Does anyone have a source for door hinges? I bought these on eBay several years ago, got to fitting them today and they’re incorrect. I don’t mind buying again off eBay but it would be nice if someone has actually fitted the ones they bought and can vouch that they fit. https://imgur.com/a/o3Qavw8 edit: can’t figure out how the hell to embed the images from my phone 🤷🏻‍♂️
  12. So you use the existing brake/turn as just turn and run a new brake. Got it. No changes to the combo switch wiring? I have one of the Thai repro combo switches that I was trying to figure out how to use. It doesn’t have the brake disconnect that the OEM one does, just a single signal for L & R turn. Not sure I want to use it because it’s plastic, but the horn connection on my OEM one snapped off 🤦🏻‍♂️. I also have the tail lights with the dedicated turns. So I may just run the new wire and call it a day.
  13. Did you run new wire from the brake light switch back to the tail lights or just alter the wiring under the dash?
  14. Ok. The RE4R01A is 24” from block to center of mount. Thanks for the info
