  1. dynamat is OK, but with some aftermarket rubbers around doors, and not having found new A pillar window seals yet, there is still a bit of wind & road noise. thankfully can still hear the ITB's singing :) its comfortable enough though for an old modified car
  2. So I have not done much on the car recently - few things left to finish, but I just like driving it when I can. I have entered in a few casual car shows, and picked up peoples choice award on 2 of the 3 occasions :) Amazing how much attention it gets. I have to pull engine out over next wee while, and put a set of rings in it, as it is very smokey, which was a bit disappointing, but assume I have had issues bedding rings in or possibly glazed bores over while trying to commision my EFI setup Link below to an electronic copy of the feature I had in a New Zealand Performance car magazine 3 months or so back. Very happy with the results. http://www.themotorhood.com/themotorhood/2015/10/28/n1u60bou0k24imchssx74ojwewsvpa
  3. Have not been sent any interior pics from photographer as yet - but hoping they come out as good as the exterior & engine bay shots Its stock inside other than an imitation nardi wheel & S30 front seats - but it is very tidy :)
  4. Just back from final detailing & buff from my Panelbeater...
  5. I actually have just solid mounted them at this stage, but plan to remake the Z seat frames/rails to have different tabs welded to them to pick up on the 1200 mount points, so they will be able to slide. I have just used some 40x40x3 angles spanning across the 1200 mount points, and then drilled holes through top to suit the Z M8 fixing holes, and packed seats off these angles with some short spacer tubes
  6. Getting pretty close now.... Youtube link does not appear to be working but if you jump on youtube & search XVYQPdXKLNQ you should find video, cheers
  7. well had a bit of motivation, and worked till midnight last two nights. Getting pretty close now interior wise, next mission is dash assembly & wee bit of wiring after I fit front carpets. Fitted up rear bumper with NOS end caps, need to make up new outer mount tabs still Finished making my 'fixed position' seat rails for the front, so cut/drilled & painted them tonight & mounted the Z seats up, pretty stoked, I think they look sweet. pretty happy with alignment & clearances and sit angles etc, they finish nicely next to the wee trim trays that run next to sills Fitted up heater box & centre console (with NOS boot & knob)
  8. interior nearing completion, will have to get windscreens in soon
  9. The old hood lining fitted up and looks better than new! wheel well looks sweet in stretchy carpet stuff, and the custom vinyl over wheel arches is perfect Also the pre finished carpet kit I brought fits really well & good quality Also installed my custom drive shaft hoop to keep Mr Certifier happy
