Speaking of the horrible proliferation of guns killing citizens of America, by the NRA and Republicans,,, i read this morning the documents  about fast and furious Eric Holder was keeping a secret might be being released ..

If we could have just elected Hillary like some snowflakes on here wanted cried about so much,,,,,,,,,,,,, none of this would have ever happened to us...  Oh if we could just turn back time.

Trump has been president for 15 years months, so why are we still talking about Hilary?

Schumer and Feinstein are predictable bit players as minority leaders in the house, so the right has nothing but to continue beating on Hilary, the ghost of a dead horse.

Although it's only Feb, Nov 2018 is looming heavy, and both parties need an enemy #1 to rail against. Trump represents a big target for die hard Dems, moderate Reps, most minorities, hard core fiscal conservatives, higher % of women and kids 18-24. The mid term is a vote for or against the executive agenda, and Trump has managed to piss off everyone listed above.

Neither 2nd Amendment issues or Trump's porn star baboonery are what's going to drive this mid term though, it will be the economy eg. interest rates, inflation, budgetary cuts vs debt, stock market, trade war, global market instability, all of this will play a huge part come Nov. And to say there is a lot riding on this mid term is an understatement.

I posted a list back on pg. 1325 post 26486 of the meds children were on when they killed people or committed suicide.

It is horribly long.

Wow, pretty damning list Fetch. Zoloft, Prozac, Paxil, and Celexa are all SSRIs and although they have warnings for higher risk of adolescent suicide, as far as I know none of them have specific warnings about acting out violent behavior on others. Not at all surprised though. drug companies are down right F'n evil when it comes to dodging and covering up shit.

I understand there are some that need it but is there a correlation with meds, depression and violent tendencies and these are the "prescribed" ones.

I don't know of any data or studies regarding anti depressant "meds" as a whole and violent tendencies, but there are issues with some specific classes of SSRI drugs razing the risk of suicide in adolescents.

Here we go again. Number two wouldn’t have helped here or anywhere an ar was used. It wouldn’t affect the ar platform at all being it uses an intermediate cartridge and not the rhetorical “high powered rifle” that the ill informed try to tag it with.
Actually number two is a perfect number for it because it’s absolutely shite.

I believe you’d find I was the one to suggest non descript mental health flag, paradime expanded it to something that could be truly functional though.

Three would be the most effective but the sheep would be to scared to let it happen even though they would benefit.

There’s a couple problems with this, other than the utter and complete insanity part.
The right to bear arms does NOT need to be earned. It’s right there in the bill of rights...these and other inalienable rights, not these and other privileges. I do agree with the statement about the nra being morally bankrupt, they only care about money and do virtually nothing to secure the future of 2A rights.

Come on dude, Climb down off your soap box. Until you post some numbers you haven't earned the right to monolog like an omnipotent authority on all things gun. Not what this is about.

1,2,4,5,10,11  2 would immediately be questioned by the pro gun crowd as a violation of the 2nd,won't happen but should.3,for some reason i just don't see that working out to well in the bigger picture.7 won't change anything. Are these your ideas Para or you found this somewhere ?

For the most part, these are proposed regulations I think we've all heard floating around. Putting a list out there was my idea. Just curious about where we intersect vs where we divide.

There's a small commemorative plaque to Jeff Buckley in the Sumatran tiger exhibit at the Memphis zoo. I have a pic of it…somewhere.

Beyond my ability to understand why he never got the recognition he deserves. Dude was channeling something from another world with his voice. His Dad was Tom Buckley and all but he grew up in the cultural vacuum of Orange County Ca. Strong argument for genetic influence.

We are well on the way to that !  California suckered dim witted voters to approve "top two" selections in primary elections to run for office in the November finals .  So you wind up with two unacceptable idiots to vote for .  They are both from the Democratic party, so Republicans, Independents and minor party candidates are shut out .  Beats gerrymandering to insure one party rule !

I never heard of this (isn't saying much though), but if the "top two" selections are Dems, either the Reps are seriously doing something wrong, or the entire country's asleep.

tr8er, I defy you to find 17 “completely innocent teenagers” in a fucking county, much less a school. Does it really matter that it’s a high school vs any other location? I would say not. A primary school, I’m on board, you’ll find actual innocent youth. Teenagers are damn near adult so should be looked at as such. Would you, john, etc really give a fuck if it wasn’t the taboo of a school? Not really. None of you showed even half the outrage for vegas as you did for this one...I guaranfuckintee you there were way more than 17 innocent casualties in Vegas. In all actuality, the world is so populated with humans, none of it REALLY matters. It sounds callous but it’s true. Not one person here has grandstanded over child abuse, starving children, little girls in Africa being tortured and having their genetalls mutilated, the list goes on for miles when it comes to large mistreatment of youth. Why are they no big deal but 17 upper middle class kids are?

Disappointing. The word "innocent" implies without guilt. You can say a gunman opened fire at Shady Acres Rest Home killing 17 perfectly  innocent senior citizens, meaning they did nothing to deserve being killed. And to think, yesterday you got your ass in a bunch over people using the term "assault rifle". I don't understand your logic that at 14 a child is innocent, but at 15 they don't deserve your sympathy because? Dude you lost me there, but at least now I understand why you assume nobody would give a shit about a mass shooting if it didn't happen at a school.
Saying none of us thinks child abuse, starving children, little girls in Africa being mutilated is no big deal would be an insult if you didn't sound so ridiculous having said it. You're right though, saying none of it REALLY matters because there are too many people doesn't sounds callous, it sounds nihilistic, bordering on psychopathic. We're not talking about letting psychos thin the herd, or abusing, starving, and mutilating children, we're talking about regulating firearms in an attempt to reduce mass shootings. Why are you spinning this shit all the way into Africa?
