  1. The cable broke and was about 20.25 in. The sheath stretched after i tried to take off the part that goes through the fire wall to try to use again.
  2. Anyone got one of these? Bought a couple recommended from rockauto which didnʻt fit. Didnʻt match up with the firewall like my old one. Heres a pic of my old one that broke. Its the exact one I need. Been buying blind too much...my fault. The exposed silver is just the inner casing that I stretched on accident in my frustration. Thanks
  3. Right on, found it where you said. The date said 11/75 so i'm gonna go with the 19.5. Much thanks. Heres a pic of my old one that broke.
  4. Anyone know how i can find out the production date of my truck? I got a 76 620 and am trying to get the right acceleration cable for it. Rockauto has two listed, one thats 20.25 inches and the other thats 19.5 inches but only for trucks produced from 8/75 to 8/76. In quite of a dilemma and already wasted money buying the wrong one from a 78 that i hoped would fit but didn't. Thanks
  5. Anyone got an extra or know where I can pick up a throttle cable for a 620? Just snapped the other day and seems to be impossible to find one in Hawaii. Thanks
  6. Anyone know anything about Holley carbs on L20b engines? Heard a guy boasting about how it was better than his Weber that he swapped it out with. Said he gained power and mileage. Wondering if he knew his shit or just plain drunk!!!
  7. How'd you like the difference in drivability between each trans? Would be good to hear the pros and cons before I do it myself.
  8. Can a '82 280zx 5 speed fit into a '76 620? Heard that some bolt up with no mods at all, but not sure if this tranny is one of them. Thanks
  9. Talked to Top End and they quoted the ceramic coating MORE than the cost of the header itself. Is there a cheaper/easier way to do this?
  10. Thanks for the help, but I think I'm gonna open her up every chance I get! Do you think 2.5 inch is too much? Tryin to follow this guy! http://www.superstreetonline.com/featuredvehicles/130_0801_datsun_620_keep_on_truckin/index.html
  11. Thanks for for the $ave! Just threw on a 32/36 Weber and figured since I'm gonna get some pipes bent, might as well get headers too. Thinking about gettin one of those Isky L4 cams too to throw in the same time.
