  1. How much to ship a car from Eugene Oregon to Tampa Florida and no thank you to the 500$.
  2. It would be just as probably a trip as ny other used vehicle. It doesn't have any underlying issues that prevents it from being driven for long distances or for long amounts of time. It cruises on the freeway just fine.
  3. Is it normal around here for people to post that they are interested and then never say anything after? Everything about this truck is clearly listed. Either you want it or you don't. If you are actually interested, please say so. If you aren't, please don't say so. I'm not hiding anything about this truck. It is what it is.
  4. Yes to both. Good timing. I was just logging on to edit the topic. I am lowering the price to 800.
  5. Bump. This is an automatic 1977 620 series Datsun Pickup for sale $1000.00. The body paint, brakes, tires, and shocks were replaced in 2005. A new Weber carburetor was installed in 2006. The wiring under the hood, the coil, and spark plug cables are were replaced in the summer of 2007. Odometer is at 800 (hundred, not thousand). It just recently rolled over and has probably rolled over once before. So at least 100k miles, maybe 200k. An engine flush was performed at the 88,000 mile mark, in 2006. It gets 18-20 miles to the gallon. The truck is registered and insured. Above all else, I am not a mechanic, and this truck is being sold as is. Any sale will be final and performed with written and signed agreement by both party’s. Located in Creswell, OR, 20 minutes outside of Eugene/Springfield. NADA lists this vehicle as having a value of $1425 in a drivable condition. This truck is drivable, though it requires "a special touch" due to the engine chugging mentioned below. I'm tired of keeping this truck around. I only drive it once, maybe twice a month. If it does not sell this summer, for the $1000, I will be scrapping it. Things of note- There is start button under the dash that goes directly to the starter. The key ignition will sometimes not start the truck, so I had the button installed to bypass this problem. The button has never failed to start the truck. The start button does not work without a key, so, theft from this source is not an issue. There are three keys to this truck; one for the driver door, one for the passenger door, and one for the ignition. The rearview mirror is not the original and I do not have the original. The speedometer is fast by approximately ten MPH. If it says 65, you’re going 55. There is no tachometer. The seat has a large gash on the driver’s side. Opportunities that can be worked on- Once in awhile, the over-pressure caused by a gas pump's automatic shutoff causes a small spurt of fuel to spray out of the line (less than a capful). Once, in the entire lifetime I owned the truck (six years), 1-2 gallons spilled out. As this only happened once, I do not know if it is related to the same problem. Either way, I usually only put in 8 gallons to avoid the problem. The engine will “chug” and, sometimes, die while the car is stopped and in gear. It does not do this while in neutral or park, nor does it happen while in motion. Numerous gas-pedal pumps (literally around 50) are needed to get the truck started, and a solid warm-up time (I like to give it 5 minutes) is needed so it runs, though it wasn't aleways like that and this is probably due to the once or twice a month driving. The running/tail lights are currently hotwired to the battery. There are two pull switches in the cab, one for each set of lights. The second pull switch is in place of the cigarette lighter, as that never worked and I never needed it. I still own the cigarette lighter mechanism. The cab light and washer fluid does not work. The engine-temp gauge does not work.
  6. Yes it is. As long as you aren't trying to scam me with wire transfers and PayPals offering more than I am asking, lol.
  7. I would like to buy your truck. Please give me your phone number, so we can talk. My number is 310-308-8986. I can paypal or wire money right away.
