  1. hey mate, i to have myself a 520 project, i see what you have done with the steering colum rubber from the firewall was just wondering what it actuallly is as my rubber is completly shot
  2. thanks for that info. and great to know their not too far from home, didnt know they imported things aswel. ill have to contact them. if not ive got something in mind to get one made up by a very talented young dude from melbourne. steel fabrication is his best quality. i dont know how they were imported, but im guessing just tray back. and if soeone wanted a tub, they just made one fit like they've done to my ute
  3. well im fortunate enough to find a rust free 520 but as ive said previously it has the wrong tub (rear bed) hoping to find one around somewhere. does anyone know of an import business in australia (pref. vic) that would import a rear tub for my ute?
  4. wanting to buy a 520 rear tub for my 1965 ute. if its possible i can arrange shipping
  5. i wont be able to get the right tub for my ute. being in australia i wont have access to get the right one. ill have to make the one ive got work
  6. thanks! i want to match the rear body with the door lines. i guess ill have to remove it and se how i go.
  7. here are a few images of my 1965 520, as you can see the top is raised quite high, i can see its on mounts i was thinking if i cut the mounts it would sit on the chassie. has anyone else had this problem? http://i1271.photobu...23/IMG_0240.jpg http://i1271.photobu...23/IMG_0241.jpg
  8. thanks a lot. ill have to contact someone with parts.
  9. i have just bought myself an original 65 520, without working rear drum brakes. i would like to know if there are brake drum kits that will fit straight on without changing wheel size or major modifications, im from australia so US products are hard for me to get.
