so here is the deal. i want to slam the wagon by means of air but i cant seem to find the right starting point. the wheels i have on the car are the Windmills and they have too much offset. First thing to take into consideration, wheel offset. that brings up the questions , find diffrent wheels, narrow the rear end or find a shorter stock rearend? narrowing a rearend for my application would be in the $800 range. finding wheels might be a fast rout so one can move straight to fabing and modding for the drop. the third is tracking down a rear end that is shorter than the 411, an is stock. in hopes that it can be pulled from the junk yard. Id like to do a narrowed rear then i am not limited on wheel selection. Any thoughts on other rearends? Any one have expirence doing a bagged 411 wagon?
  3. Swapping out the A might give me a chance to build it and set the turbo up And answer some questions we all may have . Just a bit of positivity.
  4. It leaks oil, gutless, . It's left me stranded a few times now. I'm going build the R16 To drop in. Then build the A12 up as a spare or to sell . When I bought the wagon, it had issues. Fixing my DD is tapping out my wallet And it's hard to buy anything anymore for the wagon knowing that a It was a hack job. Haven't taken apart the A12 so it's always a gamble. That was a bit winded lol but that's just proof of my stress with having a hobby Like this .
  5. All that info just to do a new motor now. Datsun's are a sickness. R16 to build now.
  6. Ok I'll check it out. It's gonna be a challenge but I'm up for the learning process
  7. I did see this video and it too was vague. In areas.
  8. Yes . A couple buds of mine and I tossed some ideas around and that was brought up For more investigation.
  9. I guess I'm just gonna try boxing the whole thing in it makes the most sense to pressurize everything as one and just monitor the tune. Where just hope I don't lean it out and fry the thing
  10. No . I'm partial to this for him .
  11. I have searched and searched for information on how to modify a stock a 12 carburetor to except blow through turbo. There's a lot of information that is all very similar but when it gets down to specific modifications to carb , it is vague . Is there a detailed thread regarding blow through turbos on A motors ? Specifically modifications to carbs including parts part numbers ? Do you have to modify a carb if you build a full enclosure around it ? Do you have to modify the carb if you use a top hat ? The turbo I'm using is off of a 650 Yamaha seca bike.
  12. If a guy was to start up a machine shop and focus solely on Datsun parts what would be some parts highly sought after for most common Datsun's and where Datsun's to

  13. Awesome dude thank you man .
  14. I can never remember how to post pictures with Photobucket. Such a process .

  15. Finally got wipers. Rigged it up to operate on single speed but I think I figured out the proper wiring Sequence to operated the two speeds. Slow and slower. Almost think I should keep it At one speed and just figure out how to get it to park properly. My reason is , it seems faster on single speed. Simply put. It has power and ground.
