  2. At least slap some primer on there, match the wheels, drop 6k, and he MIGHT sell it, IMHO. B)

Since you are going to swap the SR into the 1200 after all, will you being using any engine setback? My original intention for the car was to use a 2JZ, thus the room for firewall setback. My youngest son wants to know if you are still interested in his KP61 Starlet? It is located in Vegas. B)

LQ9-LSX are pretty big dimension wise, closer in size to the BBC than the SBC. Weight wise, the LQ9 which has alloy heads is about 100lbs more than the SBF with alloy heads. The 5.0 is narrower, and sits lower than the LSX. Don't forget, if you ever want to change the cam in the LQ9, you have to pull the heads to get the lifters out, the cam comes out of the SBF with the heads on. The LSX is becoming the new belly-button engine and is stuffed in anything that rolls. Do what you want, my 2 cents. B)
  7. Damned auto correct? Correct?
  8. QUOTE: "Just started it high so I could add pictures and description as soon as I do I will lower the starting bid. Thanks, Jason" DUH? I don't know of anyone, including myself, who has sold a car on eBay, that lowered the starting bid, for any reason. Lower reserve price? YES
  9. Sounds slightly suspicious B) Quote from Craigslist: 1970 Datsun 240 Z One Owner 53,789 Miles (Original) Low Serial # in the low 900's "Last Driven in 1974" "InLand Motor 6 Cylinder 5 Speed?" Appraised at $15,000 Asking $15,000 or Best Offer
  10. It has more than just a dent in the passenger's side quarter panel, more likely was rear ended, and that is probably why it has a salvage title. MAYBE knock $1K off, and we will talk. B)
  11. Quote: "A REBUILD DATUSN MOTOR WITH OFFEN HOUSER INTAKE DOUG THORALY HEADERS" "IT HAS NEVER CRANKED OVER MY 620 TRUCK WAS TOTALED THE BUYER WILL GET THE FULL STORY ICANT SAY WHAT HAPPEND ON HERE I WILL GET FLAGGED. NEEDS A DISTRIBITER I HAD THIS MOTOR BUILT 14 YEARS AGO AND NEVER FOUND A 510 OR ANOTHER TRUCK... TIME TO GO ..LOOK AT THE PIX I WAS GOING TO PUT A 390 HOLLY CARB BUT ,WIFE, KIDS AND HOUSE YOU LIFE STARTED FUN STOPED......TY" I can handle the poor diction, but at least spell DATSUN right, dammit!
  12. License number hidden in plain sight.
  13. Quote: "if you don't like truck just pull out engine and tranny and junk the rest" Love it!!! B)
