  1. So I pulled the reared out and tore it down I'm getting it ready for new wheel barings and 240sx brakes. As for the front I need more info on 240sx brake fabing or whole strut setup? As far as running I cleaned the carb and the tank and lines need to be cleaned to run. Dam I want to drive it!
  2. Hi all at Ratsun slowly been working on the 510 this weekend I want to drop all the suspension and clean it up. Still looking for a passenger (Right) finder and a Subaru CLSD I went junk yard hopping two weeks ago checked about 25 sube's no luck :poke: :sneaky: Striped most of the interior out and been working on the wiring all works except the wipers and low beams.
  3. In my yard actually I was cleaning out my shed and found the wheel its off a friends CRX and I want to take off the tire and use the wheel for a hose real. and my 510 is on jack stands getting tore down to be restored.
  4. Someone before me has updated the head lights and the wiring for them. Different relay,circuit breaker,and H4 outer lights. The problem is when I turn the lights all fore come on and the highbeam switch makes no change in the lights. I have some wires in side that are warped together and go inline from the engine bay tach and headlight switch. Two green/white together one blue/white and two black together and the G/W ones have a tab on the end and the others have what looks like OE bullet connectors. Everything works except the wipers and the lowbeams? :confused:
  5. I just went out to my 240sx and I have OE wires and I got about 11-12 ohms . my car has two fat white/red wires from the battier to the fuse/relay box . Its best to get OE or NGK plug wire all others aren't that good. B)
  6. I have a 95 240 maf let me know if you need it. I'll help you when it comes time for the swap to just hit me up.
  7. Rotory's are a pain I put one in a 89 B2000 it was a ported six port with a first gen front and oil pan witch was a lot easier to mount then the second gen. That thing was way to loud too and only got 9mpg! They are way to high maintenance to be a daily! The 50mm side draft did way better than a BG 500 4 barrel . I got so tired of messing with it I let it go for $900 :poke: :crying: That burn out is a 1/8th of a mile long and only first and second it was their for months :thumbup: sorry about the phone pics

I have a 95 240sx that I did a 5spd swap and that second plug is for the auto kick down. go to Nico club and theirs two fourms on the 95 5spd swap that are what I used look at the wire diagrams on those. To this day I still haven't hooked up my neutral safety or fifth gear switches yet my CEL light is on but only for those switches but it runs good. Hows your front O2 and try cleaning your MAF with alcohol and a Q tip be very careful. good luck

  10. I have a whole grill and front bumper if you want it I live just north of Sandpoint . That's a nice pickup I'm 6'2 as well and even my 510 is a little snug. If you need help on parts I go junk yard hopping sometimes let me know what you need and I might find it.
  11. The guy I bought it from rolled it on its top on a dirt road and the whole passenger side got all the damage
  12. one little crack on the passenger side of the dash :crying: all the glass is good for been on its top. I got it to fart the other day needs a carb n the gas tank cleaned. I gave it all new tune up parts and starter. Anyone else around Sandpoint bonners or CD'A ID?
  13. Hello everyone I'm new here on Ratsun I've been a nissan nut forever and always liked the datsuns and now I picked one up for $100. My daily now is a 95 240sx SE and a 78 Dodge d100 4x4 with a 440 I hope to get the 510 on the road straight body or not it will be my family car sum day. The guy I bought this from rolled it on its top then parked it in his back yard for 15 years till I came along. Its a 71 with a L18 with a A87 head and a 4spd front and rear swaybars original owners manual jack and wheel chalks. It also has the factory tach , cubby on the heater trunk rubber mat and so on. I've picked picked up all new brakes I'm going S13 all fours with new 1" willwood master and goodridge lines, new master, braided line, and slave for the clutch and a 5spd cross member I want to do a KA24DE sometime. The body HRH hooked me up on a front door, headlight bezels,and sum other little parts Thanks Matt :thumbup: . The interior I've picked up 95 maxima seats front and rear the rear needs to be altered to fit. As far as the 510 goes I know I have me work cut out for me but I'm totally hooked It might look like :poop: now but I love the challenge
