ok its time to index my bars i was reading the write up and it helps a shit load but ive never done this before and they are talking about splines? i havent got my bars out yet and would like to know what im looking at before i get in there get frustrated and beat something with a hammer :D please help
ok this is what i have going on. it starts... weak sometimes it needs a starter but thats an easy fix. after it starts it idles rough and if i dont stay on the gas it dies once it warms up a bit it still idles the same as it did when i first started it but when i give it gas i hardly revs at all. i go to put it in gear it dies. its an auto by the way dont know if that makes a differance. it ran and drove home it just wouldnt rev very high so it was slow going out of first but built up speed as i went. first thing i did when i got it home was check the plugs they were a little dark but nothing realy bad. checked one plug at a time as not to misplace the correct plug to wire. went to start it and its been down hill since. any ideas? HELP its got to run soon or it will have to be sold because i dont have room for a rig that wont run. thanks
ive got a 76 620 stand. cab long box 80k auto its orange very few small dents. its got turned down bars and 3 inch beltech drop in the rear. i drove it home and it hasnt run right since. i dont know how to fix it or even where to begin. it doesnt have a title so youd have to file for lost. i was going to get a title and had plans for it but again i know hondas not datsuns. im trying to decided what i want to do with it. make me an offer.
i plan on bagging this thing as soon as i get the chance (money) it may be driven a little before that time do i even need the bars? can you run a truck without them?
