Well, I had a turd of a morning the other day. Went to go to work and my Escalade had a flat. No problem, Ill take the Datsun. I get 10 min away from the house and the lights start going dim for a few seconds, then theyd come back. So I turned around and went home to grab my 98 Chevy. Anyway I started reading up on the internally regulated alt swaps, and it seemed easy enough. Tested voltage before the swap and it was all over the place. So I did the swap as I had a 720 alt laying around. Tested steady after the swap and everything works just a little better. The compressor for my train horns fills up much faster than it used to. Wish I wouldve done this swap a long time ago.
