  1. Cool. That's a mighty handy broom closet! I'll keep you mind if I run across anything I think you can run.
  2. Crackerjack, where in Portland is your shop. I'm local designer (and 24 year Adobe Illustrator vet) and I'd love a tour. I'm new to the area, but picking up clients rapidly. Maybe I could send you some work. The 510s in my sig are two of mine.
  3. Yessir. I used to be one of those brand loyal guys until I woke up one day and thought, "You know, I don't owe THOSE guys a damn thing." Besides, there are WAY too many cool cars and trucks out there to only enjoy the same 10 over and over and over and over again. Just my $.10. TIFWIW, that and $2 will get you a cup of coffee.
  4. Yeah, but dump trucks aren't light and they don't make great racers.
  5. I'm pickin' up what you're puttin' down man. I've seen quite a few Chevys with that problem.
  6. Thanks, goon. Your post got me thinking about one that was just a wire frame. That actually would look great on a shirt. When I get everything wire framed, I'm going to post an update in this thread. Maybe if I get enough interest, I can print some shirts. Won't cost me anything to mock them up and post them here, that's for sure. BTW, I'm insanely jealous that you have not one but TWO real ones. Some day, man. Some day. Cheers!
  7. @tristin: Yes, I was thinking I'd do that this time. I've never showed my work in progress unless it was say a logo or other piece for a client. @Spoona: Thanks and stay tuned.
  8. A-freakin'-men. I could never have enough money or space, especially if you count all vehicles in general: bikes, tractors, planes... Speaking of Alfas, here's a pic from '04 of my buddy at Road Atlanta right after he passed one in his 510.
  9. I know I said I was gonna finish the 60s NASCAR series I'm doing first, but I ran across a Z that I just had to draw. Posted here is an early wireframe. I'll keep updating here as I go. It'll be done in the same style as my BRE510 I posted a few weeks ago and the Red Farmer 510 in my sig.
  10. Now that's an interesting comparison. I like 55s too...Bob Falfa style. Like you said, a cool car is a cool car.
  11. Well, 6 years, but who's counting? So now I'm an asshole because I like 510s and Chevy IIs? Gotcha. Makes perfect sense.
  12. Holy Hell! Damn fine bit of driving by the pilot too. Do you love your Hardbody as much as I do mine? Best freakin' truck I've ever owned and I've had some good ones.
  13. Damn impressive Nissans for sure, but they are race cars, no? That Nova is completely street legal and in fact, to compete in that shootout Larson had to drive it to five tracks in five states covering 1200 miles. There are plenty of cars out there faster than that Nova, just none you can fire up and drive cross country in. That said, I wonder how far off those Nissans are from being able to do that. I'm guessing not too terribly much.
  14. Wow, nice save. Looks straight, what does it need?
  15. 'Sup '70? Y'all have mosquitoes the size of 510s down there in Kennesaw. I grew up just west of you.
