  1. heres the form im supposed to fill out above, please help all info greatly appreciated
  2. im ready to get my camshaft grind done from a NA 280zx l28e tp put into my p90 head with solid lifters for my turbo build. im planning on running no headwork, and a t3/t4 turbo eventually. what specs do i send elgin cams to do this properly?
  3. Ya that's cuz I live on the road as a truck driver. I'm only home one every 2 months. Did you not see the 2k of parts I just bought??? The rims I have?? It's coming man jeez all you've posted is negative stuff why you even here?? I'm asking "what other questions do I need" in regards to synchronizing a balanced engine build by matching up my pistons ,cam, turbo, and port work so they have good synergy with each other. I need professional help I'm talking with elgin cams and they need me to have specs on everything else related. I gotta slow down hhere and do this right. I've heard there is a engine builder website??Where you plug in specs and I guess it fills in the blanks. Any one know about this? Or have done a similar build and has insight on how to approach this part of the build??
  4. Okay I got more parts now my setup consists of 440cc supra injectors Non egr intake manifold Free ebay boost controller w gauge Walbro 255 fuel pump Rx7 fc oil Aeromotive a1000 -6an FPR w gauge 89 240sx throttle body Megasquirt 3 3.57 3" downpipe with t3 flange Large Npr intercooler 2.5" piping Turbo manifold Turbo oil feed P90 head Msd 6a Innovate mtx wideband 02 w af gauge Boost gauge Hallman in cabin boost controller I'm going to shoot for a 400hp build and build it strong enough to handle it and then tune it down for reliability. The part that I'm stuck at "since this is my first engine build" is that I don't know how to match all my internals together so they synchronize well. I mean I don't know how to make my pistons create a compression ratio that my turbo will like or a turbo compressor wheel that my cam will like. I like torque so I want the compression ratio kinda high. I need new pistons so I'm going Forged I'm porting the head stage 2 or 3 I want to run near 20 psi. I've read the 50 trim on a t3t4 hybrid will start boosting pretty low to 6500? I'm going to lighten the stock flywheel but don't know how much if my pistons are going to be lighter. My final drive is at 3.9 w 17" rims Do I plug all these things into a website and it will tell me what type of cam grind to get on my na cam?? What other questions should I have answers to??
  5. This I never thought of. Not far away from home to me either. Are the houses under 300k or anywhere near 150k? I really don't want to be Too over my head with my first house
  6. Welp. My bad. Only renting I paid wAter and electricity. Unless water and sewer are the same thing? I had no clue about property damage. Is that if your house floods or something? I know a little about inflation but didn't think location would make a difference. I thought it was only on value. But I guess location IS value. I guess paying off a cheap house and keeping overhead costs down is smart but having a mortgage and paying higher property tax due to a Better location pays off since you're basically investing. I guess once you hold onto a valuable house and it doubles in value 5-10x then you sell it and retire in a cheap location. Maybe my search should focus on an area that is cheap yet will inflate at a fast rate would Atlanta really not be a great location to do this?
  7. Haha Alright I'm learning a lot here. Never thought of buying a nice house and reaping the value 20 years later. Also I never knew about property insurance or sewer charge. Looks like overhead costs would be upwards of 1000 without a mortgage payment.
  8. I'm pretty settled on Atlanta now, looks like it's also the top 5 party cities in the u.s. too!
  9. I'm getting parts together for my turbo swap.so far I have 440cc supra injectors Non egr intake manifold Free ebay boost controller w gauge Walbro 255 fuel pump Rx7 fc oil cooler steel mandrel u-bends for intercooler piping that's left over from exhaust work Aeromotive a1000 -6an FPR w gauge 89 240sx throttle body -Need to get a whole megasquirt package. Thinking ms2v3 w relay board and whatever makes it easier to install. Still doing research. -Need turbo engine w everything attached Manifold, oil line, harness, dist, -Need t3/t4 turbo (don't know what type?) -Need intercooler (large npr) -Need wide band O2 (?) -Need BOV (going cheap 1rst gen dsm) -Need radiator fan (taurus fan mod) -Need plans for ignition (msd 6a?-stock?) -Need pallnet fuel rail and TB spacer -Need nissan injector seals for supra inj. -Need manual steering rack so I can add steering angle -Need 2.5 downpipe -Need help installing all this crap haha -Need help filling in the blanks for my parts list
  10. I like this. I saw it on the fb page. I want mine similar yet angled downward almost like those yakima wind deflectors for roof racks. And metal.
  11. I've thought of the color a lot and want to really make my car stand out. I'm going to have the crown royal bag shift boot and I'm going for a purple steering wheel and royal purple carpets and eventually a rollcage. Here's a pic I found of purple ones. I'm hoping they won't clash with the red pinstripe.
