  1. I bought these but never installed them because im looking to go another way with the truck and need money for that rather than cosmetics so...i know these aren't easy to find and even tho it took me a while id rather them go to better use...$50+shipping
  2. block went to the scrap yard....would hate to see the rest go to waste....anyone?
  3. yea, its spring under, and im getting better pics while im down this weekend
  4. yea, i plan to torsion it in the front and you think new leaf springs or blocks would be better? The wheels are temporary off of my wife's pathfinder (I got '03 wheels for it) so the tires are no good and they sit about 1/4" from rubbing the frame in the rear.
  5. I bought this 720 from a guy who bought it from the origional owner. The guy i got it from never drove or titled it so the title still has the origional owners name on it. Bad part is it sat outside for 5-6 years and was almost stolen, some guys punched a hole and couldnt get the lock open so they busted the pass. window. They couldnt hotwire it so it was then left outside with no pass. window to make it worse. ANYWAYS, i got it for $400 and it has 74,000 origional miles. It has rust through in the floor pans and drivers rocker as well as some bubbles above the rear window, all of which i plan ot take care of next...it ran pretty crappy till i got a weber for it and now it runs almost perfect! I also got a set of doors off an 86 to fix the hole in the pass door, and to shave the mirrors. Plans are to static it and eventually bag it (sold my s10 in the pics a few years ago) after i fix it up inside and out......heres the pics: Day i got it to the house: Weber carb swap: Didnt realize how bad the floor pans were but....it can be fixed! Drivers side: Rusted floor pan cut out on pass side: new door: Misc:
  6. wow, thats the quickest and most informative response ive gotten out of the 4 datsun forums i posted in.....normally it took a day or 2 to even get a response. I think ratsun might be my new home, lol. But anyway, i think i might try adjusting the mixture screw like you suggested. I live in DUrham, NC now but ill be going back to Chas. this weekend. BUt yea, i love it and i got it off ebay for 263 with free shipping, thats what changed my mind about getting one. Ill post another thread with pics of my truck later! gotta go to work now!
  7. I recently did the weber swap on my 82 720 Z22 and it is a %1000 improvement over the stock carb. My ONLY problem is that from a dead stop, if you go more than 3/4 throttle it will bog the engine down and cut off. If you are cruising down the road and nail the gas, it will hesitate but not bog down....it will get up and go after about a seconds hesitation. what could cause this? the only adjustment i've done to the carb out of the box was a little idle adjustment
  8. My father in law used to work at Nissan years ago as a master mechanic and he acquired a Z24 motor that was replaced under warrenty and had very few miles on it. It was in a shed for years and the crank and pistons are rusting but these parts were still in very good shape...speak up if you want em because they're going to scrap if they dont sell. The block has "M" cast on it and will be going to the scrap yard on monday so if you want that offer me something and its yours but be quick if you want the block. There is also an almost new timing chain with upper timing chain gear. Valve Cover: $15 OBO Head: $150 OBO Timing chain cover: $25 OBO Timing chain w/ upper guide: $10 OBO "M" casting block: ??? OBO Located in Charleston, SC DONT BE AFRAID TO OFFER, BUYER PAYS SHIPPING, an estimate will be provided after an agreement is made
