i am sold on synthetic mobil 1 oil, but the plugs up in the air and it looks as if NGK is winning.See you guys are from Oregon,nice state been there your luck but it ok here in arkansas too,I like the many fishing lakes here.I have many auto's my 4 acr's looks like a car lot.

I know copper is the best conducter the newer platunum stuff last longer but is not the best conductor.The original owner installed champion platunum plugs,but I was wonding what you guys think I should run for best gas milage,smooth idle all around.I was thinking on NGK or Bosh copper.Thanks charles

the spark delay valve..well I put it inline between the carb and the NEW advance and i sucked on it to see what functions or just WHAT it was good for so my results were.I could suck air one way and the other way it would not let any air flow thru it and it HELD THE ADVANCE in the advanced position,,like it was stuck.I pulled the valve off and the advance went back to normal position.Should you be able to blow thru both sides of the plastic valve?Thanks charles

should it spring up on it's own after its unlocked?

What advantage is it or disadvantage is it to run one line from vacuum advance to carb.?The factory has a plastic valve or somthing in the line and it has a T at the carb and then was into the canister./tank vent.79/210/1.4LThanks charles

When I unlock the rear hatchback should the gas charged lift's pick up the hatch or should it need some help?I took them off and they seem liked there well charged but they would not hold the hatch up alway,i think they need replaced.Thanks guys

Thanks guys ,I just ordered 1 Vacuum advance unit at rockauto and paid with paypal.I ordered a few other items too.They don't rip u on shipping like alot of others iv been looking into.thanks again :thumbup:

It's fixed now,had a carb from a 82 210 on it,I rebuilt the original and its purring like it should.I need a vaccum advance now.Where is a cheep on located?

Could of jumped timming a notch,how many miles on the engin?check piston on#1 hole and make sure it's at the top and pulley is on 0 TDC timming mark...rock crank pulley right to left and notice any slack..

Problem fixed,smooth idle now.Carb was the problem, In need of a vacuum advance for a 1.4 ,Parts store 50.00 ouch!! anyone got a good used one?
