I have the back half of a 69-72 510 4 door sedan. Anyone looking for clean body panels? Don't want to lug it out and waste the gas if no one is interested.

Clutch problem fixed, Leaving in about 20 min

Anyone have an address handy? i'll try to fix my clutch problem and show up with the IRS wagon.

I stopped by briefly with my wagon. I wasn't even aware it was going on, just happened to pass by. Whoever had that channeled powder blue 521, that thing is awesome. I love how clean and simple it is!

those are cool, I might make my own frame with a covered light strip though.

I was finishing up the shrouding around the shocks the other day and carelessly plasma cut my hand, so in the days letting my 2nd degree burn heal to prevent infection, I'm trying to figure out some final details. Any ideas on how to alternatively light the license plate? I'm removing and shaving the stock lights and would like to do something that isn't noticeable. I thought about machining a frame that could house so LEDs but maybe someone has a better idea?

So no multi-color means I'm out? I hate that. No love for the unfinished cars... I missed registration anyways...

I had some flex joints, but due to the car being so low, I couldn't find anywhere to put it that wouldn't either push the exhaust into a ground pounding area or push the exhaust up against the floor boards. Time will tell... The flanges at the manifold/downpipe are thicker than the others also. I drove it to my university today, and its way too loud to keep driving it this way. I just rush shipped my muffler from amazon, so hopefully I can get the tailpipe section quickly setup with the muffler before Friday. Otherwise, she rides great! Conquered the shitty socal freeways and made about 60 miles worth of driving so far. Only issue I have been having is fuel pukes out my vent filter a bit, so Thursday I need to mount the vent higher above the top level of the tank. I think when fuel sloshes around with driving, it forces fuel up the vent tube. Hopefully an easy fix.

Shocks done, Just a little shrouding and some urethane gaskets and the whole setup is finished Tackled the exhaust yesterday! Cut the down pipe, tucked it closer to the transmission, and opened the end up to match 2.5". No muffler, hasn't come in the mail. So in the meantime I ran a straight section to the bumper. When the muffler comes, I will do the tailpipe section, from the crossmember flange back, in stainless. Forgive the picture dump, I'm quite proud of how nice the exhaust routing turned out. Everything is tucked up very tight and I haven't had any issues with scraping beyond coming into and out of my driveway. Only part that hangs down is the flange at the downpipe, and that is only about a half inch or so below the scrubline. Hope to see some of you Saturday morning in Irvine! Just finished a customer project that has been holding me up, so I will be getting the wagon all finished up for myself. Current progress puts me at cars & coffee in Irvine on July 12th. Well, it has been a while. I have been working on a ton of things, and school has taken the majority of my time. I thought I would post some of my latest progressions. These are not done yet, they will get a sheetmetal piece at the bottom that will tighten up the hole the shocks pass through, and I am making some 50 shore urethane gaskets to seal the opening in which they pivot. not quite finished yet...

That's a much more meaningful update! glad to hear things are working out for the most part. Focusing of the real matters at hand is always more important.
