  1. To anyone who is able to make it, I'm sure a showing of the ratsun family would be appreciated
  2. Thanks for checking in boys. I appreciate it. Many years ago I started as a dumbass lube tech with a cheap Datsun and a Ratsun account with doctor. And now I get to build things like this.
  3. I 3d printed a set of those lol
  4. I started my career as a lube tech and apprentice under doctor. And now I build race cars. Thank you for the guidance doc. I remember that specific cd009 trans Mike lol sat under his bench at work for ages before he gave it to you.
  5. A legend, OG Ratsuner and original Insomics mememaster.
  6. In my head I thought this 5k roll would fit in my dry box.... I have no idea what brought me to that conclusion lol Because clearly that is not the case 🤣
  7. Getting started on making some stuff for the 610 crowd
  8. Those look awesome. I'm in the works of scanning the 610 dash gauge housing, so Ill be working on bolt in Speed Hut adapters for the 610 here soon.
  9. So far my biggest gripe with the xmax is the factory spool holder is mounted to the back. Its a bitch to get at, change, and you can't keep an eye on your filament level... Overall a stupid oversight. But so far its been pretty easy to swap it to feeding out of one of my dry boxes. I added a center fitting to run a bowden tube directly into the box. Mainly because I plan on running one XL spool of ASA in there.
  10. Extra filters should be in tomorrow. got vent parts already printed. Fan on the machine has charcoal before it and will blow threw a HEPA filter out to a 1-3/4 duct tube to another 120mm fan with a HEPA filter to the outside. And I'm going to seal all the door and top cover edges with some 1/8in thick weather strip foam and see how that all does. In theory that should make it much closer to a negative pressure in the chamber. At least be sealed enough to keep the smell out, cuz Iv got some way worse shit to build with than ASA lol
  11. The xmax has a charcoal filter and vent fan to the outside of the chamber, so far printing ASA its not bad but I can still smell it. So Ill be running a duct from that threw another HEPA filter for good measure and venting it outside. My office is small and I don't want to smell any materials lol
  12. The speed increase alone has been worth it for me. My printers are always running and it shaves a ton of time off R&D for me.
  13. lol mine are running almost 24/7 I'm already figuring out where I can stick a second one so I don't have to wait for a print to finish to start another one.
  14. Its usually about 1k, I got it on sale for 8 and some change. I'm still catching up on the PLA prints Iv been needing to do. Then Ill be switching it over to a bunch of ASA and PA12-CF prints. So far its been awesome with no fucking about right out of the box. The real test will be when I start pumping a bunch of ASA and PA12-CF threw it and actually have the chamber heater and stuff on.
  15. The Xmax has been rad so far.... On just speed alone... look at the difference between the xmax and my ender.
