First thing tomorrow I will attack the seat with fresh eyes. I'll grease that baby up too. Great advice about documenting everything you do to your car. Ahoy Ratsunians. Great site. I just bought my first car. Yeah I know. I'm 28. My first car. Laugh all ya want. I broke up with my girlfriend and realized I needed to buy my own car. Haha! So what did I buy? A pretty fresh and clean 72 510 goon. I humbly say "I TOTALLYS SCORED!" She drives great aside from a few wiring problems and alignment. My profile pic has a shot of her. So I've been tinkering around lately. The back rest of the back seat bench goes down. But I realsed that the bottom cushion of the back seat/bench seems like it has hinges and can fold up? I looked a bit further and found a strap that sounds like it is trying to unlock the seat so one could pull it up. . but it aint workn. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I just want to see whats under there! Or should I shut up and be thankful that I'm now a member of one of the coolest car clubs in the world? Thanks in advance for the help.
