  1. Here's another option. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Datsun-Nissan-pickup-adjustable-custom-upper-control-arms-/192274764822?hash=item2cc4781416:g:1FcAAOSwqYBWnTlE
  2. I don't think he should call it quits just because of ONE person's opinion. Many of us can really use these and are willing to pay a reasonable amount for them. You should never let one rotten apple ruin the bunch.
  3. If we don't get enough people to sign up for the red knob, would he be interested in selling a plain headlight knob? That way, it's up to us to anodize it at our expense?
  4. I will want a set for sure! I will also pay extra for these. Maybe a special set, including all of these, should be made for those who not only request it but, pay upfront. That way there is no concern of loss of time or money for datrod.
  5. Those seats looking really good! What are you thinking about reupholstering? Black leather? I think that would look cool.
  6. It sure is. https://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/6199407570.html
  7. I contacted them with the measurements but, said they did not have any recommendations. I also contacted another company similar to McMaster and had the same results. The 3D printer seems like it a did a good job. Now, we just have to see how well it works like Crashtd20 said.
  8. This is one of the best custom 521's out there. First saw this on Craigslist and was surprised is was for sale. Great build!
  9. I actually did try this at a couple local stores but, no luck. This will be a good place to search. Thanks for the link!
  10. Did this really die? I've been waiting for updates. I am definitely interested in a set. Of course, the closer to stock the better but, anything close to it will be sufficient in my book. Especially for something that won't crack over time, I'm not complaining. Keep this idea going! Many of us 521s will appreciate it!
  11. I actually made that same search and had the same results. I was hoping that I was not the only one with this issue but, it seems that I am. I also thought about 3D printing to make an exact match but, I didn't have much luck with the local services on that one. In the meantime, I will still look for an alternative part found on other older vehicles. I doubt Datsun only made that piece for 2 models.......maybe.
  12. I've been working on my truck for a while and I'm currently having problems.with adjusting the carburetor and noticed that the plastic sleeve on the accelerator pedal is broken. I'm not too sure if that's what most people refer it as but, it's part #2 pictured below. Now, my question, is there an aftermarket replacement for this even if it is made for another model or make? OR does anybody here have an extra one they are willing to sell? I am really trying to avoid buying an aftermarket pedal. Thanks, in advance for any help! ***I do apologize if this has been covered***
  13. Thanks for the responses! It cleared up a lot on my end. As am waiting for a response from nissanparts.cc to see if they have that part in stock, I'd like to know if anyone has dealt with any of the following parts stores: ziparts.co.nz kyotoparts.com If so, how was your over all experience, quality of items, and shipping times? I do realize they're overseas but, if I can get the parts I needf, patience is a virtue......especially with a Datsun.
  14. I've searched and contacted different online parts stores for replacing those torn up bushings and I had no luck. Most stores said that part is discontinued. I know someone on here has had better luck on finding alternative bushings. (I forgot what thread it was on. My luck!) Anyway, I would like to see if anyone can guide me to find something very useful. I also need those grease caps. One of them is broken. Thanks!
