  1. Okay so after all the time and $$$ I've put into her it's time to move on. So my 73 620 standard cab short bed is for sale, it on cL for 2500 obo. List of parts/word done: New brakes-wheel cylinders, shoes, booster, master, all dialed. Clutch master All new fuel lines, vacuum lines, air cleaner Carb rebuild New rear tires Lowered 5" in back, 4" in front Super clean and straight body This truck runs great and is currently my dd but I've lost interest and just got a new truck. Clean title, all gauges work( just missing tach) needs wiper motors and a stereo. That's the only con. Located in Loomis California. Local pick up only please. Thanks shoot me an email meeky87@yahoo.com
  2. I walked right into that. Well thanks for the UNO anyway.
  3. Will the hardbody drop spindles work on a 73?
  4. Ya im not expecting to get any more speed out of it, just a lower rom at 65-70 ish. It would be nice however.
  5. Been driving my 73 pretty far lately, an realizing that this 4 speed fawking sucks! Time for a 5speed, what tranny will bolt up to my l16?
  6. Ps DAT510 pics are in my first thread "smurfin' low"
  7. Also turbo'd a ford 2.8l v6
  8. A) yes I have another vehicle, I built a rock crawler out of an 85 ranger. B) I am pretty handy with fab work as I work at a buggy shop that builds baja vw's as well as drag vw's. We just turbo'd a 59 bu that you can dial the boost with a laptop. So I'm not as dumb as you assume, just new to datsuns. C) I also work construction full time which funds the never ending projects in the driveway.
  9. I'm in rocklin, ca. Still not sure which way I'm gonna go, maybe cold air and exhaust for mild power addition.
  10. Im no stranger to welded diffs either, I have a welded rear Dana 44 in my ranger crawler. My 620 has 136,xxx on it FYI. The guy I mentioned earlier that turbo'd his razr said he has a Saab turbo that he could easily mod for my truck. He also turbo'd a Chevy luv.
  11. What's gonna be my best bang for my buck as I am a teenager on a fairly tight budget. Not interested in motor swaps, is a cam an option? I really would like a turbo, idk just fishing for ideas... Ps... Newb question: a friend gave me 2 185/70 are those taller/shorter or wider/skinnier than my 195/70's? I can't read metric please help.
  12. So I researched the turbo option, got distracted, called a buddy that knows datsuns and came up with a new option list: 1) forward turbo +intercooler 2) rearward tubo no intercooler 3) but a used motor from a 510 race car 4) milled head 5) nitrous Now it is my dd so I don't want to go too crazy, but I like burnouts. An lets face it, the 620 doesn't burn out like my old 86 firebird did. Input is apreciated
  13. I finally got my 73 runnin tits, been trying to find if anyone has put a turbo on a l16. I have a friend that modified a Saab turbo to bolt on to his polaris razr, so I'm gonna see if he can make me one. Unless anyone has any other input.
  14. It's been a while since I updated y'all on my truck. All new fuel lines, wheel cylinders, booster, master cylinder, cleaned up wiring. Just gotta pick up some new rubbers tomoro, then she's road worthy. Pics to come soon.
