  1. yes sir, it keeps the tiny turbo from hitting the hood
  2. last year I took my truck, this year i'm taking my Datsun
  3. here's some update bought a new turbo, the turbonetics hurricane benita bb new and old turbo relocated the traction bars and mounted cc drag shocks got some weld pro stars here's a video of the first time out with the new set up. 10.65 @ 129mph and still on pump gas still tuning, had to back off timing and slowly get on it due to no traction and tires being too small so i got rid off the 26x8 slicks and got 28x10.5 slicks now i'm just waiting for a nice sunny day to test and tune :geek:
  4. lets do it! i'll bring my truck down to vegas :w00t: , the next time your in town. hahaha  mr. medler
  5. yes its still gonna be turbo, gonna try high compression low boost and thanks the five lug conversion, toyota hubs with my stock spindle machined more pics motor install drove it on the freeway and the motor got really hot due to the higher compresion so i relocated the radiator back to the front what a tight fit and with the radiator and electric fan up front i had to find a place for the intercooler
  6. project update so the truck ran a 10.2 at 132mph at 12 psi on pump gas and a little traction issue, and ended up hurting the motor, the blocked cracked right down the middle, not bad for a motor that i'd race for 8 years so i pickd up a new block and got some new parts pulling the old motor new afr cylinder heads, arp bolts probe srs light wieght forged piston and mahle racing rings flat top with 58cc heads and the block milled to 0, should bring the compression to 10 to 1 got the rotating assembly balanced and assembled the new motor the new heart
  7. the new look, and the newest addition to the family a 720 ka24det
  8. mounted the hood and the grille and slapped on cobra wheels and made it street legal here's a little fly by pedal fest http://youtu.be/hdjX9c_wzH0 keep in mind that the truck next to me is a turboed d21 with a ka24de
  9. thanks, i've driven it to work a few times, about 25 miles round trip, it got a little warm on the freeway, but stayed cold on the inner roads.
  10. thanks, it made 446 hp @ 7 psi on a mustang dyno and a little over 500 @ 12 psi and was having issue with the exhuast hot pipe, too much back pressure so i changed all the hot pipes in the exhaust to 3 inch and mave it go in to a Y instead of the log style, and also lowered the turbo so i can mount the hood on. also mounted the radiator on the back
  11. its on demand, its a "just in case" on a button :w00t: lol
  12. pulled it out of the garage first start http://youtu.be/MvooGtC5F1U on the dyno for tuning http://youtu.be/MHbCVhmdM8M
