  1. i got mine working poor contact on the inside pin of the relay i had cleaned them up and they still didnt work so i sorta bent the moving pin towards the fixed one and they work atleast until i find a replacement
  2. I am having similar issues on my 71 510. My low beams don't work at all, when I switch to high beams the outside lights come on and the inside lights barely glow red. I'm thinking mine is the relay and I've taken it apart and cleaned it I've tried finding the proper relay to replace it but all the auto parts store carry or can find are the newer 5 pin. I have traced my grounds. I will have to check the one by the hood latch that hainz mentioned. Not trying to thread jack just trying to mooch off all the knowledge!!

      I put 2- 620 dashes in a 79 510 HB, along with the original dash. lol,

      it was a tight fit along with some other car parts. ;)

  8. what size bolt do i use for the pressure plate to the flywheel for the ol' l series

  9. where are you guys getting the l20b clutches its got a 200mm fly wheel but i cant find a clutch at my local shops....

      Thanks! "JustJoel" on here made those. They are 4" with 3* of angle to help the pinion angle...

      510freak yeah i think it had been sitting there a for long while its tags are from 2000 they are holding air now but its definitely in need of tires

      I'm glad you were able to get this 2 door. I'd had my eye on it for about 8+ years,even made some arangements to pissibly buy it,but with my new 521 project,i just don't have the $ or room for it. Good to see it getting back on the road again!
