although I have not been posting,(in a LONG time) I have been watching the progress of this build. Besides the awesome results of the build, I think the story itself catches so much more attention due to the fact its been a family build from day 1. Its almost a fairy tail of young gear heads into whatever form of transportation, not to mention being able to have some type of a decent relationship with siblings and dad to get it done. I cant say enough about this build, and how much attention and interest it has drawn. Good Stuff Ryan's

No, they busted into a house they have been staking for about a year. Like I said myself and the sheriff that lives directly across from me knew, this guy has been under watch for a while. He was a dealer amongst other things. The trend is to rent a house in a unsuspected area such as ours, and set up shop. He was always quiet with no traffic, couple of low rider cars parked in one of the four car garages, a bit off..but nothing out of sorts.

^ this ^...outta your fuckin mind pointing a weapon at an already pumped up swat member, telling him to get out of your driveway...lol. They were parked at an angle in my driveway using the van for cover, if I would have opened my front door I could have had 3 of them at my vantage point. Startling them with a shot gun pointed in their way, would have made for a bad day....lol

Crazy early morning, I was awakened by gun fire, yelling and broken glass, my wife asks what was that, "I said sounds like swat raiding a house next door" with in a few seconds I was armed and ready to defend my home. My wife is telling me your crazy how the hell do you know that?.....I dont know, just sounds like that. Sure enough we look out the windows, Armored SWAT van in the drive way, 15 passenger van parked in my driveway, and close to 30 tactical goons in position. Then yellow tape and a couple of corners walk through....game over. Met this guy once, knocked on his door and he yelled back deep from a room in his house, introduced myself and thats the last time I spoke to him. Not sure what happened, but for the last 6 months undercover cars have been checking this house out. And the neighborhood is up in the 350k to 450k type homes.....goes to show, you never know. Nothing on the news yet but, pretty exciting... All this means is I can justify buying another weapon...I have always wanted a Saiga-12...great home defender

Im very disappointed in my sons for not knowing this shit, or at least researching...surprised really. Now I feel responsible for their deselection status....Id bet they would say lets buy another gun, or a hockey then this bullshit.

I agree, we have PC's coming out of our asses at home, 4 laptops, 3 desk tops, some tablets and shit....Ill be dammed to spend more money on a PC.....I think they will live another year without a Xbox one, I dont care if their disappointed ....lol

And thats it? And it doesnt play the old games? My sons play games, but they wouldn't know the difference in shadow textures....seems like it isn't worth the overall cost. My wife bought it because its what they want....thats fine, but take some time to know what it is your buying...geeeez

Im glad this was posted today...was just trying to tell my wife to return the XBOX one she bought the twins for Xmas....Im calling scam on this unit. WE already have an ass load of games, and the last thing I need is my 16 year old boys spending every waking moment playing this thing, instead of lifting weights and working on their Z....lol, Plus there does not seem to be any real benefit to upgrade, or whatever you decide to call it.

LOL...not sure if you read this wrong...I lived in Santa Rosa as well, Im not black...but was referring to the hippie comment up there in Forestville, sorta by the Bohemian Grove....worked there too...lots of interesting activities.

Just checked out the progress, very nice...love all the DIY. Your sons will have a different appreciation and worth of this 510...good stuff.

So yeah, last time I was on the site, sold 67 Camaro, bought a 84 Supra and sold it, bought a 1990 Corvette convertible and sold it, made profit on both. I also bought a 95 Honda accord, still have it because its clean MPG's are the most Ive ever experienced an any car, and it looks pretty cool. The 75 260Z , motor is done and tuned, drove it from the back yard shop into the front garage, need to sort out the coil overs a bit and put the interior back together and its done. Working on another project for a friend. Falling in love with his truck, replacing a blown BB with a normal BB, in a 87 crew cab short bed 3/4 ton, odd combo but its nice. All this and coaching hockey has taken up most of my mind and time.....ok, back to work on the Datsun

Yes Im back, I lived next to the Russian River in northern California, for a minute...it reminded me of sitting at Circle K and people watching, but at a whole different level.
