You could try to use a universal mcphearson strut airbag. The specs according to the ebay seller: Designed for to slip over your Factory/Performance Struts. (Pressure tube must be less then 2.14 in Diameter). M12x1.5 So if you use the arp studs you need to get new lugnuts. I found that the 1.5 pitch is more common in the auto parts stores.

Thanks for the replies, I just had to be patient and wait for the penetrating fluid to work. I got both nuts off and the spring perches removed. Im just waiting for mr2 rear inserts to shorten the housing.
