  1. Lol. I actually know little about 4 cyl l series. I'm a long time s30 person so having this is pretty weird for me.
  2. Probably not for sale as I been wanting to build a 620 or a 4 door 510 for a while. Just waiting on a clean example
  3. I was thinking about a couple sss carbs i had then it dawned on me that they came attached to a head about 20 years back. Went to the shelf and pulled down the head and it turns out to be a 219. LOL Has some really cool old hitachi spark plugs. Its got some gnarly pitting around the exhaust ports and one pretty beat up exhaust valve. Don't know what cam it has in it but i measured out the cam at around .425 lift. Looks like its never been milled as it mic'ed out at just over 108mm. Here's some pics of it after sitting for a solid 2 decades.
  4. wow, those look twice as thick as the ones i have in it now... how can i tell what mounting it has?
  5. Anyone know where to get new engine and trans mounts for my 65 320? It has the j13 in it and the mounts are so bad the oil pan is laying on the crossmember.
  6. yea, all the original throttle assemble has been cut out and been replaced by a weird linkage setup. is there any restoration pieces available for the truck? im also looking for the mounts because these are totally dead, and all the rubber weather striping is dead too.
  7. any input about the accel pedal assembly? looks like it used to be cable and someone hacked it up. i know that can't be the right pedal either.
  8. New to ratsun, not to datsun. Here's my junky old s30. thought you guys might like pics of a budget beater tearin' it up. All those pics are 6-8 years old.
  9. Well, i got a call from a family friend about a 65 l320 they had that has been sitting forever. I finally got it home and its a bit of a basket case, i got it running with a spare weber dft that i had. Seems that someone along the way put a j13 into it and butchered up the throttle assembly quite a bit. It is a floor shift which i thought was weird. Anyone have any input about the pedals/ how to adapt to have a cable setup? Worth keeping this engine/ trans combo or go to something different? Not too sure how i can modernize this drivetrain to make it a bit more drivable. Heres a few pics of this old beast! and some pics of the engine and messed up pedals. Where can i even find parts for this?
