  1. What do you know about a girl with two black eye's? She didn't listen the first time!
  2. http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/pts/3515014505.html
  3. http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=cfrm this forum has a lot of great information.
  4. I cut the frame of the donor truck up under the floorboards of the cab, and then welded in the front cross member and added the tongue and angle bracing along with the hitch itself. There are some pictures of the build here: http://smg.beta.photobucket.com/user/fj40dave/library/67%20Datsun%20520
  5. Just today and tomorrow: I'll wrap it up like it's a surprise when you get it!
  6. I can add some expanded metal decking in the tongue area along with a metal storage box mounted to the flat surface just forward of the front of the trailer wall....keep the price at $450 for that.
  7. Well....Friday is here and the world didn't end....so, in honor of the Myans messing with everyone's "end of the world" hysteria, the end of the shifter cover has been delayed another week!!!! Hurry......the end is 7 day's away and counting! :w00t:
  8. Title transfer (from truck to "trailer" needed)....title is "in hand". Price is $400
  9. My thoughts on making this more "usable" would be to weld on a deck of expanded metal over the exposed frame forward of the bed, and install a metal storage box just in front of the bed as well... Probably paint it flat black too....but......the next owner can make this into what they wish.
  10. I have the transmission shifter hole cover plate from the '67 520 I parted out (just found it when I was rearranging stuff in the garage).... These things are as rare as hen's teeth!!!! So..... I think $675 is reasonable.....after all.....there arn't any for sale anywhere else are there????? Well.....ok.....so, it's just a piece of oblong steel made in Japan about 40 years ago.....no biggie I suppose! If you're interested in owning this fine piece of Japanese pre-tsunami memorabilia.....shoot me your address and I'll send it in a envelope for the cost of postage (probably <$5).... Want it to go to a good home instead of the scrap metal bin! Dave ps: if you're wondering.....I would take the $675 for it.....just say'n!.....
