  1. I got a little work done on the truck today, I thought I would try to build the mount for the the brake booster / master cylinder. My MIG welder started acting up so I'll TIG it in the morning. Just thuoght i would share, once I finsh welding it I'll start making brake lines.
  2. I like the bed idea and I needed to address the rust it wasn't to bad but it was heading that way. My spot weld drill bit did a great job removing the battary tray. I'm thinking about installing a 240sx brake booster and a z32 15/16 master to handle the z32 front brakes. Has anyone completed this mod? Before After
  3. I started the engine compartment Sunday and I ran into an issue with the rust inhibitor that i got at Napa auto parts. I used paint striper then sanded it all down to bare metal on 1/3 of the engine compartment. The inhibitor was applied with a foam brush that bubbled and dried that way. So i'm resanding it all down again. I also did the same to outer wheel wells but that didn't matter there because I used bedliner to seal and coat there. I have a question has anyone moved the battary to another location? I have untreated rust under the battary mount, I would like to remove and relocate or remove and clean and put it back. Any thoughts?????
  4. I have an RB30 / RB25 head project for my Skyline if I run into trouble can you give me a hand?
  5. I bought these for my Armada and they still sitting in the box I need a 1/4" wheel spacer to fit under the factory QX56 20's. Brembo 8 piston calipers 14 or 15 " rotors

    New here - My 620

Nice truck I like the color
  7. We would like to repaint the engine compartment in the same factory orange color, what would be the best way of going about it. I'm not the best when it comes to paint and primer's. So if any one can give me tips on going about redoing the engine and the in side of the cab I would appreciate it.
  8. So my good friend Spriso set my son an early birthday present for this truck they are freshly power coated Z 32 front calipers they need some parts and some assembly required. Now we just need to send payment for the caliper bracket. I hope they fit under the wheels???
  9. Well the boy and I had another great day both working and getting parts for his 620. We headed off to the pick n pull today grab KA24de cam shims per my Dad two of the vavles wouldn't come into spec's with the the shims that came with the motor. That has been our stalling point up to this weekend. I'm hoping they we fix the problem because the alternative is to replace the vavle seats... Let get back to our good day we got a radiator that looks like it might fit. My son was excited about having keys made for his truck so we stoped by the Nissan dealership my Dad retired from. They had a set of Nismo wheels for sale so we pick them up. We placed an order for a set of Z 32 brake caliper mounts, My buddy gave my son a set of power coated calipers that just need to be put back together. We just might have more money in the wheels than we paid for the truck...... I think they might have a set in silver for sale let me know... around $ 800.00 for the set. I caught him off guard
  10. Well we had a good day on our project. We fixed one hood hing and almost finshed fixing the hole in the floor. The Metal on the floor is very thin we stil have to detail the welds on the floor. We went a little wild on the welds on the hood hing used both the mig & tig but my son is learning a ton.
  11. Here are a few pic"s and a up date on the Poppy build. I started to work on the fuel tank a 240sx in take pump fits perfect and the cup at the bottom is from a Q45 I still need to weld it in and plug some old holes.
  12. Well we picked up a factory tach and a floor board as a patch panel from Pick n Pull for $ 37.00.
  13. In my option the external pumps are to noisy. But thanks for your input keep it coming.
