  1. I'm running a Tilton racemaster 13/16" on my 521(direct bolt on). I have to stand on the pedal to get it to stop. I get nervous in heavy traffic and my leg will be sore after any kind of "spirited" driving
  2. my 521 is my DD. mileage isn't a problem. we'll have to plan something out.

  3. Im good on parts, i actually have extras myself! After i get my 620 a bit more prepared im gonna try to make a huge east coast meet somehow.

  4. there is a 77 620 in the junkjard down here if you need any parts. going this weekend, let me know.

  5. drove my 521 on a service call to Davidson last week. wifes grandmother lives in concord, so I'm around there every once and awhile.

  6. heck yeah man, nc guys need to meet up!

  7. after 9 years owning my 521, found another local datsuner today. Raleigh,nc

didn't see that thread earlier, thanks for the link
  9. The slides meter the fuel to the motor. From my understanding, they work on a pressure differential. So therefore should work under boost. As long as the outside of the slide sees a higher pressure than the inside of the slide, it should work.

I've thought about the box, but mounting the carbs is already difficult. with a box, almost impossible

the carbs don't run on "vacuum", they respond to pressure diferentials. so theoretically, if the piston sees 8psi under it and 7psi over it, it should lift

Does anybody have any experience/knowledge with boosting SU carbs? Type 3s on nismo itake, l20b, long tube header, lightened flywheel, dual points. I'm wanting to run a small junkyard turbo, maybe 10lbs. If anybody can help, it would be appreciated.
