  1. We're having the 27th Roadsters at the Glen show/dinner/weekend Thursday through Sunday. All Datsuns welcome, we get some Z's, Dimes and we even have a Nash Metro coming. It's a bunch of people who just like cars, and the food is excellent. If I know a few other model Datsuns are coming, I'll add a trophy and a class, but feel free to show up Anyone interested in details and dinner tickets can reach me at Daveandlindab@verizon.net an I'll get you on the list. Cell if you come up there 908-five91-989two Dave Brisco
  2. Does anyone own this logo or mind if I use it? Text would change, but use the basic? Would be for annual Datsun Roadster Show in Watkins Glen NY, non profit and if you own the design, you get a shirt. thanks
  3. I have a set of , Western wheels and Falken 185/60-14 tires for sale. These were on my 69 Datsun 2000. Should fit Z, 510, Toyota ETC 4x4.5 Inner cast portions painted dark charcoal, face and rim bare aluminum. In good shape, I don't think there are any marks that won't polish out. Offset unknown, but they fit my 69, which was REALLY low and never rubbed, should be fine for 510 or Z. Balance good, bo vibration up to 115 mph  Approx 4000 miles on the tires. Includes center caps with Datsun emblems. Takes standard mag lug nuts, which are easy to find, used set included. Price is $450.00 OBO, I REALLY don't want to ship these, and it would be expensive. Also don't want to sell without tires. Email daveandlindab@verizon.net http://311s.org/phpBB3/download/file.php?id=9992&mode=view http://311s.org/phpBB3/download/file.php?id=9993&mode=view
  4. Hi I have a set of Pacemark 195-65/14 tires just taken off my Roadster, 75-80% tread left . Thought I'd give the Datsun community a chance before selling on Craigslist. Free to anyone who can pick them up. Kenilworth NJ, 07033 Email is best, daveandlindab@verizon.net
  5. I have a complete lock set for a 69 if you end up needing it, let me know
  6. Hmmm Car looks familiar....
  7. I have a set of 14" Roadster stock wheels with OK 195/70's. Hubcap clips are good. I simply have no room. Pickup only. Northern New Jersey Will trade for just about anything that takes up less space Set of 5 slots, or a Six pack of good beer will close the deal. Hell, free works too I have to pay to get the tires taken off just to throw them away, so even free, I'm ahead.. They could be rollers for painting your Z or whatever works. 4 x 4.5 bolt pattern. Have a set of 2005 Dodge Ram steelies too, email is best Eastcoastroadster@gmail.com
  8. 69 Datsun 2000 Roadster - $6000 (North Jersey) Date: 2011-10-19, 11:27PM EDT Contact info Eastcoastroadster@gmail.com Dave@ecarsnj.com cell 908-591-9892 69 2000 , I've had it for 6 years. Drive it anywhere. Recently did a 1000 mile roadtrip, most of it in heavy rain, with no issues.. It has a basically stock A cam U20engine, Keith Williams rebuilt SU carbs, electric fuel pump, East Coast Roadster electronic distributor (built by me :) used to own the company) and a one-off prototype Champion aluminum radiator and electric fan.. Full Nissan early comp suspension, KYB GR2 shocks, super low, but driveable on regular roads and comfortable ride.. Seats are 2 yrs old, 1 year old RetroSound stereo with USB/SD inputs. Western wheels 185/60-14 Falkens. The body is basically straight, paint is showing it's age on a 15 yr old paint job and a few spots are bubbling. Has a good convertible top, interior etc. Chrome is good, not show quality, grille is a bit rusty. This is a 40+ year old car that gets driven, not a trailer queen. Negotiable on price and included accessories, within reason. I can sell with stock wheels, factory steering wheel etc if preferred.. DBrick on 311's Please ask and I will send detailed pictures. 311s link
  9. East Coast, I swear, I saw the ocean last week!!! My car, on Craigslist Click
  10. 311s.org has all the details in the tech section. here
  11. Best thing I can tell you is figure out how much you are willing to invest in the car, total. Find a complete running car in that price range. Depending on the season and luck of the draw, $3000.00 to $5000.00 gets you on the road and running. 1600's are easier and cheaper to maintain the engine. If you can find one from someone who participates in the community, either here, 311's.org, SOCALROC (Roadster Club) etc.
  12. Thanks for the replys, this is for a customer, I had the same suggestions, use a Crane XR-700 or pick up a complete Matchbox. He really want's one of mine, so I'm trying to get it right on the first try. I know the ROadster stuff inside and out, but the L series throws in some variables I have an L20 matchbox body and the plate from the 67 SSS distributor, but have no idea on what pedestal is in the car. Now knowing the 11-28 orientation, I'm halfway there. I'm in New Jersey and he's in California, so mistakes will be a large PITA.
