Frequent junk yard visitors. Inquire within...

Anyone who goes to the pick n pulls on regular basis, I am looking for a small easily removed part.

The stock air freshner from a 90-92 infinti q45.

It is located at the front of the drivers seat.  Just reach your hand in behind the panel, and push it outwards from the back.

If you see it snag it.  I will take as many as any of you can get.

Thanks,

These things are no longer in the yards around me.

If you can find one with the cover still on the unit, and in like new condition/fresh,  I will have a local hooker blow you.*

Secondary's not opening. Z24

08 July 2017 - 04:25 PM

I remember this truck used to have balls.  It has been temporarily clipped...

Secondary's not opening verified by putting grease on the diaphragm rod.  It did not suck up into the actuator.

Rod moves freely when pushed up manually/butterfly opens/fuel is delivered.

Butterfly's open freely when pushed open through the carb intake/throttle body.  Hooked up a hood release cable to manually operate the actuator at speed.

It worked.  Truck accelerated.

Truck runs great.  Idles well.  All vacuum lines are good.  Most have been changed.

Can this be fixed easily.  Is there a certain venturi opening I can clean/blow into.

I blew into all the ones I could find with no change.

Taking apart the actuator pot looks like a pain.

If no easy solution is to be had, its finally going to get the 38/38 and cam.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Edit: Not switching it over to mechanical secondary, as that doesnt seem like it can be done on the engine.  If its coming off, its staying off.

Anyone also have a D21?

17 February 2017 - 04:53 AM

Will the driver or passenger windows from a D21 fit into a 720?

No 720's at the yard, but theres always a d21 kicking around.

Slammed my door yesterday because the carb floats stuck and the window popped!

Glad it was in my back yard, and no one saw me freak out :)

Thanks.
