  1. re-sell, Don't take another one off the road, post OICS what kinda wing we talking here? haha
  2. Well I looked up a little about the world class T-5 and I talked to a friend who is going to use one in his firebird, and you have to have them built to be able to reliably hold over 300-350hp so I got my 300zx trans for $80 at a junkyard and I'm going to buy the $400 adaptor plate and probably still be cheaper and deffinitely more reliable, I want to be able to launch down the track more than once haha
  3. z Thanks! Yeah they are the blacksheep of the Z world, but I love my car. I like the combined style of the Z31 and the s30 that the s130's have.
  4. That's interesting. I didn't know they held up that well. I may reconsider but I do not know where I would find a world class T-5 at.
  5. Yeah I've thought about doing that, but I still would rather put the better overall transmission in this one time and not have to deal with it again.
  6. "Oic" to appease the masses
  7. Yeah there's a few around here, Steve on the 318racing.org site has a super clean 72 4dr 510 sedan
  8. I am keeping my T5 and rebuilding it, I want to keep it for the antique value the car will have in my lifetime. The Z32 Transmission will not bolt directly up to the L28 engine but does bolt up with an adapter plate, see this link: Adapter Yes they are heavier, but the T5 doesn't hold up to much power, I believe its around 300hp when it breaks. I am wanting to do a nice turbo build that will put me over the 300hp mark, so I don't want to have to deal with it then when it's broke now why not go ahead and build it like I want to, and not have to do it again. On that note, I went to the junkyard and found a nice Z32 there with the manual transmission sitting in the backseat for me, someone had pulled the motor left the trans. payed $68, with that kit I will pay a total of $468 for a nice Transmission swap that will hold whatever I decide to do. My friend is selling me an R200 LSD rear end, so that will go in when I swap the transmission.
  9. The Cancer that led to the spray bombing of my car. The entire hood sanded, and the my dads celica in the background After with my brothers prelude, I don't think it was lowered then.
  10. oh and here is a similar, if not the color, on a 510 http://px6.streetfire.net/0001/35/20/1995302_600.jpg
  11. Have you seen the blue that's on the 2008 model honda accords? that color is pretty awesome. http://www.topcars.am/img/brandmodel/big/1281004478-96.jpeg
  12. I pulled the break boost line and sucked about half a solo cup into the intake an cut off the motor, let it sit for about 5 min then crank, it will be a little hard to start if its like mine and never had any love before I got it, rev it up and don't let it idle for a few seconds cause it will shut off and take it for a spin to get all the crap out of it. Mine made the two cars parked behind it disappear in smoke the first time I did it.
  13. yeah I was getting around 25mpg on the highway, and 19 in the city, then I found seafoam. Seafoam is some awesome stuff, cleaned out so much crap out my motor, felt a nice power difference and the extra mpg.
