  1. Thanks you've been very helpful. My car currently has 195/60r14 on it and I wanted to try go alittle wider on tires. But your definetly right about finding tires in the 215 size. Not really any good choices. And I'd rather not take a chance an have my tires smash my fenders. So I'll just stick to 195/60r14 so I can get some better tires.
  2. Thanks that's an even better site than the one I currently.use. Which is http://willtheyfit.com
  3. Thanks. And my car isn't lowered right now. Maybe I will one day, but not any time soon.
  4. I own a 1978 Datsun 510/ Stanza. The suspension is factory, and my rims are 14x6 with +10 offset. The tires I am looking at buying are 215/60R14. Does anybody know if these will fit my car? Thanks.
  5. Again thanks for everyones help. But one more question. Since I'm just going to have to save up for new rims I'm just going to buy a good set of used tires to mount to my current wheels to get me by. So my question is my car currently has 195/60R14 tires on it. And the used set of tires are I'm going to look at are 195/70R14. Does any know if these will fit my 1978 Datsun 510? Heres what my car looks like with the 195/60R14 on it.
  6. Alright so it sounds like using spacers are a flip of a coin. It'll either work or end badly. And the hub centric type are alot more money. So I guess I'll just keep looking for the correct rims instead of running spacers. Thanks for all your help.
  7. Alright I bought a set of Enkei rims awhile back for $100. They have both curb rash and dings. Not overly pretty but completly functional. Went to to the tire shop to get some Bfg tires installed. Shit rims don't fit, I forget to check there offset. So my options are as follows. 1. The Enkei rims offset is +46, so I will have to run these. A 1.5" bolt on spacer. Are these even safe? My car is my daily driver and I drive 13 miles to work one way. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-1-5-4x4-5-to-4-x-4-5-Wheel-Spacers-12x1-5-Studs-4Lug-for-Hyundai-/380641732734?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item58a003e87e&vxp=mtr 2. Return the tires and keep looking for rims that will fit my car. Which can be tough as my budget for rims is $300 and under. And the rims I want are 4x114.3 15x7 or 6 and close to zero offset. Which I search Az craigslist daily for that and never find anything. Also if it helps my car is a 1978 510. Any advice on this would be great. Thanks.
  8. White smoke could mean you filled the motor with to much oil. How much oil did put in?
  9. Definitely not show quality, but fix the fucked up front end and it will be a nice clean 510 that'd pay at most $4 grand for. But hey here's just about the most expensive 510 I've ever seen. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/3731380772.html Almost $7 grand for a non running rusty looking basket case.
  10. Alright thanks. I'll keep looking around for one that'll work for me.
  11. I'm interested in one of the adapters if you can get more. But I got two questions. First will the adapter work on a six bolt steering wheel? And do you know if this will fit on the 1978 and newer 510s?
  12. You think the prices for the Datsuns in your area is bad? Try AZ. $14,500 for a 1972 510 Goon http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/ctd/3643669477.html $6,000 for a 1969 510 2 door http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/3717680698.html $5,000 for a 1981 510 2 door. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/3622375725.html $2,350 for a 1973 b110 http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/cto/3724639231.html
  13. The cheapest and easiest way to get yellow highbeams is to use this shit. http://www.amazon.com/Metro-Dark-Yellow-Vinyl-Light/dp/B005FLYND4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1364346538&sr=8-2&keywords=yellow+headlight+tint Great thing is if you get sick of it, you can just peel it off. And I've been using this on my 510 for about a year and its been holding up just fine.
  14. Heres my old rims for sale. They went on my 1978 510 sedan. Follow the link for the for sale add and pics and specs of what they look like on my car. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/52156-14x6-enkei-rims-with-tires-400-or-best-offer/?do=findComment&comment=852817
