No plans for a cvpi body swap, lolz? It’s nice to see an old f100 that isn’t going that route.
I'm not against putting the CV front subframe under the truck for better/modern brakes and a nicer, but no body swap. Bed needs to stay flat and useful. If it can't haul loads it isn't useful to the wife.
Picked up a 1966 Ford F100 long bed. Previous owner had it for 30+ years. Took pretty good care of it, took out the 352 and put in a 302 and C6. No huge plans for now, we needed an around the house truck for home depot and dump runs. Wanted something older so we could put it on our hagerty insurance and not our everyday insurance that is expensive because of the teenage driver. So for now, just driver her and keep her running.
Haven't really done much in the shop since this picture. Moved some drawers to make a work bench, made a movable table for my radial arm saw and table saw. Made some more ceiling storage, moved the lumber rack, ran network from the house to the shop, added a tv, ran some air lines with a couple outlets (one on the ceiling for a pull down air line, one outside the shop between the garage doors, and one on the work bench), and acquired a roommate for the Datsun.
Installed some door panels and speakers. Yup, I'm an idiot and cut holes into T3 panels to install speakers, shoot me. Didn't use their self taping screws to mount them. Bought some new hardware and drill and tapped the holes. Just need new door handles and window cranks now.
