By far the best one you may get is a Vermont Castings...but you'll have to hunt for a good bargain...try the thrift shops, or yard sales...I just got one for 1 dollar, has no neck for the stove pipe, going to have one made...good luck, ted

Problem solved, took the fittings out of a 5/8's clutch slave, done deal now..:cool: got the engine rebuilt, might slap on some MG exaust, kick it up a notch with the weber i got for it...Ted

half dollar fitting into the back plate, am thinking about putting the roadster front end in there, with disc brakes...then I would have no more problems

My front brakes are 5/8s, and the hole it goes thru in the backplate is exactly the diameter of a quarter (25 cents)...having a helluva time trying to find a kit or a new cyl, and trying the auson people...see what happens..the wheel is a small one, so nothing else fits...ted .....and Dats no lie

in 62 I believe, had a surplus so left the vin plate date of Manufacture blank, so was stamped 64 but your right, its a 63 or 62...main problem is finding a 5/8's brake cyl front...but working on it, thanks for the pic...its a cutie...got a weber for the new engine, should be able to do wheelies...lol...Ted

People are generally generous, and alot of time a generous person is taken advantage of...while living in Cal, for 16 yrs, long beach, I saw so many lame ass moochers that it in retrospect makes me sick. People stealing wheelcahirs from the VA, then faking vet status to get bucks. But I will tell you this one thing...I never saw a mexican begging for anything, always something for something, oranges or flowers or some produce. Never ever see asians begging for anything...but you see the lame ass trash out there all the time...I used to see this scum bag begging at the lights every day (smoking of course) and I told the grub, why is it mexicans will work over there at the car wash, and you sit here all day begging? Bye the way he had a brand new 18 speed chained to a post, probably stolen...pathetic bastards
