  1. And how? Or could I just run MSD 6AL box for ignition only?
  2. Can this be done with the dizzy being welded or modified like DUKES distributer?
  3. NO i am not looking to buy his set up im just say look at what he did to the distributer. WOuld it be possible to take the guts out of the KA distributer and put the L20b guts in the KA dist? im just trying to think of a way to do it. with out trying to fork over some more cash for another motor.
  4. Well I just stumbled apon this.. http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=551114 And the dizzy looks like the oil pump shaft was welded to the gear for the DE head and the intake manifold was just cut and welded with flanges. Soooo...would this dizzy mod work?? Sorry for being a buzzkill about this topic but other then that I was wondering about megajolt system but I want to keep it simple and less wires as possible.
  5. Ahhh ok yea after re reading the reply I kinda figured that I could not use the carbs on the ka. So now I got to sell the carbs and get a harness an ecu..and maby try to run the fuel injection.
  6. Never mind I re read your post and answered my own question.
  7. It helped, but then again..since I bought the s13 ka, does that mean I can drop the oil pump and gear and replace it with a l20 pump and gear and dizzy and use that? Or I will have to go with the frontier motor?
  8. Bump. Anyone? I'm kinda confused on what's needed.
  9. After reading many many forums and the ka24de info thread and hours on google..I just have a few questions after buying this ka24de that I plan to put dual webers on... 1. Do I need the oil pump shaft and dizzy from a l20b? 2. Or do I need the oil pump shaft and dizzy and oil pump gear? 3. Can some one chime in on the parts I need for the carb conversion? It's a ka from a s13 with 5 speed. The guy I bought it from is selling it for 100.00 with out harness and ecu, I'm going to put it in my ae86. I hope you guys can give some advise as I keep looking on all the for us and you guys like the ka swap.
  10. Ok so your saying i can cap off 4 and I can connect 3 to 1? And 2 can not be blocked or HAS to be connected to the intake? im just trying to get this straight before i get this in.
  11. yes its going in the corolla and my car will be daily driven. I sold all the GTS parts and wanted something bigger and better. So I picked up this single cam KA24E and the L20b dizzy as well to go along with the carb conversion. But after taking off the manifoldI was left with the water hoses. My motor is the one at the top first pic.
  12. Well im in the middle of a KA swap and need just a little advise. I removed the manifold in order to do a carb set up and am left with a lot of water lines. I need to know what I need and waht I can cap off. The car its going in has no heater so I can bypass that line and connect it to run through the head. But there are a few more left. If you could I would love to see what others have done to the lines. Here is link to the same question I am asking but it seems to be a mix match of Plus them and loop them so does anyone have a different or FOR SURE way to run these lines? here is a pic of my water lines and the second pic is the lines and what to do with them. http://forums.nicocl...pt-t443957.html
