  1. contact ggzilla - david gonzolas - - he has one & it's likely for sale soon if not already.
  2. here's his response..... Hello, Thanks for your concern. I am sure the engine will be sold separate from intake & carbs. The interested party will call. . Kurt. - k.weaverfamily
  3. the reality is it wont fit a US spec 110, 1200 , 210, 310 , etc.... in its current dual carb config., they interfere with the master cylinder. I sent this guy a message thru ebay the other day politely informing him of this but no response nor did he post up any data about that fact. I conclude he's an A-hole seller..........or maybe he just hasn't looked yet at the messages.....................nah, A hole.
  4. go to the wrecking yards and scavenge some vapor hose off other nissans or whatever you can find then use a nylon 90* fitting to join them together. Vapor lines different than heater hose..... Oops, saw you already solved this - original always works best anyways if you can.
  5. Ooou, typical floor cancer. Glad you ordered the new one, its best - here's a pic from the 210 one I have, found it yesterday.....
  6. Im telling ya the 1200 & 210 locksets are identical, buy it complete from RA. I thought I had a picture of them side by side, I might be able to find one to show you but read this thread & compare the pic's to the one on RA. http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawiki/index.php?title=Ignition_Switch on the bench they're identical..... I say that with 98.999% certainty not 100% because it was 2 years ago when I compared them.... you have to drill into the screw heads & use an easyout to remove them, they're twist off security screws so no head
  7. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=488391&cc=1208854 buy the above - Im almost certain it's exactly the same as the 1200 lock set.I had one out of a 210 & 2 1200's & compared them, I dont think they're different at all.
  8. so what happened to the tach install??? gotta have that - if i remember its pretty easy to hook up, one wire off the back of the cluster somewhere, been a while since I did that. Glad it worked well for ya. call me to hook up, I'll grab that other stuff from you.
  9. I ordered one yesterday as well, but I wanted the length......don't we all want the added length  OK that was dumb but seriously.... I originally bought one from harbor Freight, an inspection camera with a screen, about $50 but the camera head is too large for going down a spark plug hole, the one I ordered is a 10mm dia camera, pretty small so can go most places & for rigidity I'll tape it to a flex cable or stiff 10GA wire or even a plumbing snake. I need it for wall & duct work inspections as well, should be handy for $24 bucks.
  10. you could pull the carb & stick an inspection camera down the intake runner - usb connected - ebay $20
  11. I've got a bunch of misc parts for the 210 sedan I scavenged from for my 1200 project - they need to go, feel free to make offers....just not too ridiculous please ;) 1980 210 sedan windshield - no cracks, nice & clear $150 same year new OEM nissan AC evaporator $50 720 console (I think) new OE in red $50 - can easily change color with SEM Bumper Coater or interior color coater 210 door threshold covers - black plastic good cond. $25 Rad overflow tank $20 Windshield washer tank $25 Radio am/fm great shape, works- $ 40 and probably some other stuff I cant think of right now, just ask. Datsun 1200 coupe parts - I have a bunch of stuff, shoot me emails or PM's with what your looking for & I'll let you know if I have it. I have a large list but doesn't have prices on it & so according to the rules of posting I'll leave it off, just inquire. Thanks, Evan

    620 tach

No problem, better than plastic, just dont scratch it trying to remove that goofy label thats on it, use some solvent & then wash it well. Wash up that gasket in soapy water & it'll be fine as well. Lets meet up next week some time. E

OK but trust me you'll like glass better for a lense, I have a plastic one on my clock & it's fine but it refracts light differently. See ya tomorrow. I'll be there 11-12 ish...
