  1. I got her done. The catalytic converter was no good it was clogged explains the heating and back pressure to the engine ,the black smoke
  2. Do u know the stock propper jetting is for this is there anything else I need to pull off the intake all Itook off was egr valve catyletic converter still on the idle screw don do a thing I eveneven turn it all the way in and it don't even shots off
  3. I'm bummed its running at 178°f so its cooled but now its blowing black smoke I feel like wrong jets were probably put in air adjustment screw don't do nothing is there a chart or a Weber jets setting for this 1.5 engine out there

  7. I actually put the original back on and it still going further than normal it always stayed at a 1/4 now its reaching 1/4 above middle
  8. 1.5 1978 210 wagon I have replaced carb with weber 3236 had it jeted removed egr valve put a plate on it changed thermostat flushed radiator made sure not clogged seems to be running too hot not overheating but almost getting there were should I run to next ..... has anyone run into this problem any help would be apriciated

  11. My 210 wagon , I'm trying to find out if anyone knows the proper jetting on the 3236 Weber Carb ,I'm doing smog delete I'm down to just the jetting part it has the 1.5 4 cylinder, oh and should I remove cat or leave it would it help or ??? Will appreciate any hints
  12. wut up im out here in el cajon hey guys im having some enoying issue with my 620 i keep burning out the voltege regulators and was wondering if anyone knw or had a solid state regulator were i can get a part # or if u guys knw were i can get one or if anyone knws who caries that paticular regulator see my 620 had a solid state electronic vr regulator when i coocked it was when i had installed a stereo sys. i over wrked the alternator wich killed the regulator ,all thess auto parts stores keep giving me the points style regulator wich is shaidy wnt wrk right only for a couple of days i need to find a solid state brand so i can show up to the meets
  13. well it started ever since i installed the stereo it over shot the alternato but now that it dnt have stereo sys it keeps burning these things up
  14. wut up havnt been here in a while i dnt knw if this is the right place to start this topic but i need some help my 620 is having charging problems i keep burning out regulator and alternator why i thought it would be the stereo i had wich was after market alpine amp of 700 wats so i took the stereo out but now it still burnt out i noticed that when i hook up the new regulator and start the truck it runs fine but the regulators resistor smokes for about two min and stops runs fine for a couple days but alternator quits charging and charge light comes on so my is has anyone ran in to this problem see i ts a shame when the mtr has a 150 miles on rebuilt and i cnt take out the sweetheart u knw please its got a lot of power but i need some hints of were to look at. : )
