  1. Bravo sir, bravo. I've been considering doing some homebrew on a much smaller scale with a Mr. Beer type kit.
  2. I have a super sweet Norinco pistol. It was converted to use 9mm ammo. Not really sure what all that entails although i do know there is a spacer in the clip. I paid $100 for it. It's never jammed up in the 150 rounds i put through it and is pretty dang accurate. Only downside is it looks like its a chinese made pistol, haha.
  3. I can live with the ole 260 air system (roll down 2 windows and hit 60) but i don't want my son sweating to death during the 90+ degree summers around here. I guess its time to start looking for a donor truck.
  4. I'm guessing factory air on these trucks, especially the early models was a bit of an option. I'm planning my KA24E swap in early January and hoping to turn my truck into my daily and be rid of my cavi sedan. Has anyone retrofitted a/c into their truck using componenets from a 240 or some other vehicle. With a KA in place is it possible to use a 240 compressor and 620 factory interior components? I'm thinking i should just hunt down a factory air truck and take all the components out and just use a 240 or HB compressor with some fabbed up lines.
  5. Amy details on wheel size on your gray truck?

  6. Nah, thats how the Hornets were. By my detective work, it's a 1954 Hudson Hornet. Last of the first generations, and REAL Hornets.
  7. Its crazy because i found a little Yancy book in the car that had all the owners info, and under vehicle driven to work, the tag number off this car, last registered in 87, was the tag number on the car.
  8. So the old lady and i have been looking at some houses for sale. Her dad being a realtor, he took us on a tour of homes today. So we're looking at this one house, and its jammin! The layout works great for us, it has an open 2 car garage, nice 1960's brick home. The house was very dated and needed fresh carpet and just some MAJOR updating. I was kind of let down by the fact the garage was open until i popped out on the screen porch in the back and low and behold a stand alone shop! I was super excited, it was a cinder-block building with a door on the face and an odd big bay door that had barn type doors on it. Very tall building, ended up finding on the inside there were stares up to a second floor for storage. I poked around the building, all but one of the windows were boarded up. I peeked inside the one window and almost jizzed on myself. I told her dad i had to get in there and see inside, and low and behold he produced a second key from the lockbox. What did i find inside? This: The owner listed lives out of state and from what i could tell was possibly a daughter of the guy that had owned this house. Not sure if the car comes with it, but maaaaaan i sure hope so.
  9. Ian, just want to say thanks for the headlight buckets. And consider this some seller feedback. For two boring little headlight buckets for my 620, this was the nicest packaging i've seen in ages! I constantly buy hot wheels and vintage action figures on eBay, and this realy blows me away! Thanks for the extra effort man!
  10. Love your screen name, Max! Gotta go get back to the MFP...

  11. yeah this things been for sale for a minute. the questionable drivetrain is whats killing it along with the fact that its the holidays. If it was tax time id scoop it quick.
