  2. did you ever find one? .. I have one that is a project .. I have been working on it but just have not had time to finish and need a new mountian bike more than a third car. send me an email or phone number or text and I can send pics .. I am 1 1/2 hours from Oregon boarder California. I also have a contact for a transporter that lives in Washington. The car has all the parts to convert to a A14 (a rebuilt one comes with car along with a spare cylinder head) and a 5 speed, and the diff just needs the spacer for the diff. I have 2-3 intakes and 2-3 exhuasts and a canon intake with weber side draft. The only part missing on the car is seats .. I have a clean set of honda accord seats I can throw in. looking for 2000 obo or a trade. Car has a badly repaired dent on driverside and a little cancer under the hood hinges. all the glass is good and has stock wheels with great tread on the tires. I will take pics this week and post an ad in the classified section.
  3. thanks for the help .. turned that input shaft and the shaft turned the same way .. yeah..60a non dogleg tranny ...score .. 100 at pick n pull including core .. caught them on a sale day
  4. I picked up a tranny out of a 210 and here are some picshttp://photobucket.com/60tranny and i need to check something .. what is the plate on the side for ? and is this a 5 or 4 speed how to ID?
  5. well i know what I saw and the 310 and 210s that are at pick n pull are all rwd except the e16 is fwd
  6. I just went to the junk yard here in Redding Ca...3 hours north of Sacramento...They have 4 datsuns .. 2 are 210 and 2 are 310 they are mostly unmolested at this time but that wont last long ... If you need parts and are will to pay I can go and get some in the next week or 2 ..none had stick shifters in them but were all 4 or 5 speeds but could not tell which any help .. and one had an e16 engine in it ??? never heard of this engine .. had the same intake but the exhuast was in the other side of the head. I am sure 2 or 3 need engine rebuild due to the amount of oil on the engine but they were most complete let me know

  10. I know what you are talking about ..but that hangs the mount off the supporting surface of the cross member .. I am building a mount the gives the mount support underneith it ... thank for giving me a diffferent idea though ... I am going to make a brace for the offset side that has the fuel pump so one has the option to run the stock pump .. taking pictures tonight and in the morning and will post to photobucket
  11. Well i am making the plunge into putting a bigger engine into my 1200. I got a good core engine and I am putting new seals and rings and bearings into it just to freshen it up I decided to figure out a way to develop a direct bolt in mounting kit... The main problem I have run into is that the mechanical fuel pump is in the way so I am going to run a electric fuel pump to solve that problem. Then next is the same side mounting is wierd...There are only 2 mounting posts and the block of plate for the fuel pump gets in the way so I think I am going to make a plate the blocks off the fuel pump port and is part of the mounting plate ,, we will see if this works... will get pics up of the process this week Anyone interested in a pair if this works???? Think about it...no mods at all just bolt on the mounts and drop that new A14 in and go:) ANY thoughts????
  12. I do CAD work and the best program that I have used is AutoCAD and there is a free version out there for all ... It is great . http://www.3ds.com/products/draftsight/free-cad-software
  13. I am buiding new engine mounts for my 1200 to do a direct bolt in for an A14 and the mechanical fuel pump is in the way....So I am going to a electric fuel pump. I am curious on what would be the best pump for this aplication. I am going to run the stcok hitachi carb and wet manifold that came on the motor. Also in your experience do I need to put in a fuel regulator?
  14. looking for the alt and the coil and the radiator .. zip 96013
  15. what where when how ... did you get an edis trigger wheel that works ... bought or machined????
