  1. That's very nice! and local too, I wish I had the cash on hand, damn the timing. GLWS
  2. I like that color as well, It still has the 4spd I take it, it looks pretty stock. could you get some pics of the inside? Thanks
  3. Ok thanks for the info, it's been years since I lived there and I couldn't remember if they did a mechanical safety inspections.
  4. I would like to take this off your hands but I'm still putting pennies aside. What does Oregon look for in their inspections? and would it pass?
  5. Having been on the lookout for these pickups or Datsuns in general, I haven't seen many of the 620's there are Z's a plenty, I drive a truck over the road and keep an eye out for these. It seems the northwest has more than it's share for some reason. I do agree the price is a little on the high side, a clutch R&R is not a big pain heck it would be getting a 5spd from the start anyway. my main concern is rust when I get a chance I will get a real good look at the underside. being that its in Pueblo it shouldn't be much of a issue. Thanks for the heads up on the brakes pharouh, those and the normal belts and hoses along with a good tune up would be on the check list. Logical1; That is a good find for sure, I can only hope to step into something like that.. Thanks for the input. Eric
  6. This should be a pic of the 73
  7. There are two vehicles on my list of have to get, one is a 510 and the other is a 620, the other day I came across a guy that has 4 pickups, he has 73, 77auto and a 71 I didn't get to see the 4th truck, the 71 he won't sell the 77 he wants to keep but the 73 he wants 1500$ it does need a clutch, rust wise from the limited look I got it's not bad just at the front fenders, overall pretty clean he has had it for 20yrs. I didn't get inside the cab both doors were locked, so I only got to peak through the window. It seems I need to relearn how post pics...
  8. Those carb's look to be Hitachi not quite a true SU they were more of a emission carb than anything else the 73 240Z got them and so did the 260Z's. Most ppl went and got the older 240 SU's there are a 3 bolt dome and a 4 bolt dome the 4 is said to be the better of the bunch because you can adjust it more. Syncing the carb's is not overly hard you should use the carb tool to get the balance right, When I did my 240Z I went and bought a video, or borrowed one just to make sure I was on the right path lol Good luck I'm sure you'll get it figured out.
  9. ‎2011 Indy 500 winner Dan Wheldon killed today in 15 car crash at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. RIP Dan

Yes, a sad day for a great sport. I saw watched Dan qualify and race At Laguna and PIR. Fast guy.

  10. Damn I hate it when I don't have that many pennies on hand when I need them. GWTS
  11. Thanks for clearing that up. One reason I want a 510 is I can get a bike on it and carry my bikes, I haven't found a rack that will work on my 280, and fitting a bike inside a Z is a real pain.
  12. That's not a bad ride, would the bike rack come with it?
  13. Thanks for the link, are those frames boxed?
