Thanks. It has been a long road.

So it has been quite a while since I last posted. Since my last post I have rebuilt the engine, swapped to a 4.38:1 rear differential from a 620, and did a blow-through turbo setup. The truck makes A LOT of power and brakes are my current concern. The factory drums are not up to snuff with the speeds this thing is capable of at this point.

if one side is not adjusted properly it will cause the truck to shoot to one side when braking. I would check the opposite side brake to check the adjustment of the shoes and go from there. also, if the car is shooting to one side while braking it could be an alignment issue. my truck tends to pull to the right when braking because I have a lot of play in my suspension king pins causing my wheel to turn slightly when braking. i am too cheap to replace it all though.

I think i have one still... I just went internally regulated. Problem solved. I'll look around and see if I still have my old one though.

I need to rebuild the motor this spring. One rotor came apart on the way home from breakfast. lol

How's my engine?

Today i installed my electronic exhaust dump valve and wired up all my aftermarket gauge lights. looks good and sounds good too.

THE FUNNY THING IS THAT I BOUGHT IT FOR $1000.

So I got new exhaust on the truck yesterday. 3" mandrel bend from the header back to a single in-dual out Flowmaster under the bumper. I also had them put me in a dump tube in front of the passenger rear tire for the drag stip... ;)
