  1. thank you, I will keep my eyes open for one!
  2. KFunk, what are you using for the crank? I have a NL but have always had starter issues.
  3. I would be interested to know the name or address of the company that did your rebuild, I did mine and it works great.... for now. Would like to know how much as well if you dont mind. Thanks, that looks beautiful!
  4. Wayno, thanks for posting this, I finally got my little NL running again! it was the float! I took the carb apart and cleaned it, still would flood out. Fixed it with some solder per DanielC's advice and it starts and runs!Thank you DanielC, this is going to be my new daily driver!

Stunning! I'd love to see that engine bay as well, also be nice to see what has been done with the seat, looks trick from this pic! Good Job!
  6. Hi Ryan, love the truck, those Titan wheels look awesome! I've got 16" red steelies and I thought that looked tough.. Anyway, I am looking to swap in a brand new L20b with the 280z 5 speed and saw that you were still running the stock rear end. How is this on the freeway? Are you looking into swapping out the rear gears or does it keep up with traffic. I plan on daily driving but I'd like to make a run out to the desert every now and then. Thanks for any help with this and I look forward to seeing any updates!
  7. I drove over about 730, not a car in the lot. Oh well, maybe January....
  8. as I stated in the initial post, I will post a link and some pictures tonight when I have more time, sorry I do have a job.....
  9. I have a 1971 521 about to post on ebay, need it sold by next weekend.I drove it lastnight and it was my daily driver till i built my wagon. hate to sell it, reliable tough little truck. lowered with bars and blocks, 1600 engine ,new die hard battery, redid the seat in a black tweed and its nice, sony stereo with sony speakers and kenwood amp, decent body and no broken glass, runs great has never let me down. $1200 obo. will post pics tonight but i can text them if you call.....oh yeah Im in Torrance CA. 90502 310 701 6634
  10. It was great to be a part of this wild turnout! That place was packed! lots of awesomeness and some great people as usual! Thanks to all that worked to put this meet together and make it possible to do something like this! Also thanks to all the praise and questions about my 4x4 wagon, hopefully next time I bring it out it will be a little more polished!
  11. Ill be there in THE 4x4 510 wagon, wondering if anyone has antenna for the wagon, not sure if its the same for a sedan but I am tired of not having radio. Looking forward to getting some feedback from Datsun lovers on this thing, its only 3 1/2 months old so she has only been out about three times now.
  12. I will not be racing just watching but I will do a little crawling out there.

  13. man king of the hammers is a tough course i wish you luck that wagon is cool

    GOONS check in

Cool! Thanks for the praise, I am re-gearing the rear end, updating the alternator, and tuning it up for King Of The Hammers next month so I will start a thread with some pics of how this started out.
